We were so glad we did this tour. Keith was our driver and he was very professional and a very safe driver. He talked throughout 95% of the driving part which some people may not like. However, we felt he was very informative and told us a lot about the island. He really provided a wealth of information. Keith's style is not jovial but rather more professional and fact oriented but we really did enjoy his tour and commentary. The tour is exactly as described on the website. We did notice that some of the other company vans were stopped at some sites that we did not stop at (i.e. Sandy's banana bread, a scenic view) so perhaps the drivers have a bit of discretion. However, we still made a lot of stops at various waterfalls, scenic views, a place where we bought delicious macadamia nut brittle, a flower farm, winery, a beach where we had lunch, Lindbergh's grave, etc. We were very happy to have Keith navigate the twisty road and bumpy, remote part of the loop rather than have to drive it ourselves. In fact, our driver stopped to try to help honeymooners stranded in a rental convertible car in a very remote area of the loop where their cell phone service did not work (but our driver's phone did). They were going to have to wait several more hours before a tow truck would be able to get to them. No one on the van minded that we stopped to help and I felt it showed how kind the people of Hawaii are. The lunch was better than we expected. We had a tasty chicken breast with BBQ sauce, a roll, macaroni salad, mixed salad and a piece of chocolate. We were satisfied and full. A long day as we were picked up at our hotel at 6:45 am and returned around 5:30 pm but a great way to see and learn about much of the island. Plenty of bathroom breaks too. Highly recommend.
