“Heavenly Eleven. On a scale of 1 to 10.”

Heavenly, serene, elegant simplicity in this very special place that all ready exceeds expectations. The resort will amazingly be closing May 31 to reopen in November with an even higher standard of quality and service if that is possible. The setting is extraordinary, the service is amazing.....in short, how can this get better...apparently two additional pools are planned and other major renovations including one presidential suite which will be a combination of 12 existing rooms. We look forward to returning to experience the "before and after". We urge you to go and see the "before" before May 31, 2015.

We decided on a short vacation and to pamper ourselves for our honeymoon. Being Oahu residents, I've been to Lanai twice before but never at Manele. The hotel was hands down the best stay ever for both of us.
The entire staff treated us with the warmest aloha and were very personable. Right from the airport and the first time at the hotel, the staff knew us by name! The facilities were top notch, and the spa treatment was blissful. Food was delicious and the room itself was one of the best! For the first two days (we arrived on a Wednesday), Manele was relatively empty, it felt like we had our own resort.

Much mahalo to the staff at Manele! They really represented the people of Lanai, with great hospitality and aloha.

Wonderful, relaxing, amazing. We didn't want to leave. The service is the best. So peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of activites, no pressure, lots of pampering. The food was healthy and delicious. Lanai is a simple place with wonderful sights and great activities from snorkeling, hiking, off roading, golf, spa, meditation, or just laying out at the beach or pool. Closest to Heaven I have ever experianced.

Green Features: We can learn a lot from their environmentally friendly practices. They provided water daily in refillable glass containers in or room. No paper or plastic bags anywhere.

Love it here
Forth time - family have a home on water
But love just spending time at the resort
Staff is wonderful -
Talk about being catered to at the beach
Clean towels
All the beach toys you need
Snorkel gear
The staff are always on their toes
With hors d'oeuvres water , lemonade ...
Anything you request really .
Great coral reef
With a selection of fish
dolphins always show up in bay
And put on a great show -

If you are looking for a place
Without swarms of spectators
This is s place !
If you love golf
Here is the place
Myself I can not get enough of r&r
Ocean - sand - sun
Minus lots of people !
I must inform you of how nice the locals are
Everyone waves when driving -
It's very slow paced & happy place .

Amazing grounds, amazing service, amazing beach. This would be a great place for couples, very romantic. They also do a great job with families. It is a hard balance but they do a great job. I would take my kids here for sure and I would do a couples trip. There is only one pool but they are changing that and for the meantime it is still beautiful. Spinner dolphins in the morning and mai tai's in the afternoon. Perfect.

Staying at Manele Bay was a great experience. We arrived on a shuttle and were greeted in the reception with a glass of fresh juice. From start to end this resort was amazing. Most of the other islands are all about doing and adventuring, but Lana'i is a totally different experience, it's all about the relaxing and Manele Bay is the place to do it. One of my favorite things to do was to hang out on the beach and the staff makes it very enjoyable. They set up your chair and umbrella and periodically bring around cool wash clothes and spritzes to keep you cool. You can walk along the beach past the hotel, right up to sweetheart rock. Its a bit of a trek, but well worth it. We did have one issue with the Italian restaurant on site, but after speaking with management the next day our issue was more than resolved. They do offer a breakfast buffet, we would load up every morning and usually skip lunch there was so much offered. Make sure and try the fresh juice they serve, it was always different every day. The room was very well appointed and I loved the turndown service. This island is definitely more an adult experience, I'm not sure this is the island for a family vacation.

Aloha,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your time with us at Manele Bay especially your R&R time at the beach and the guest rooms. We will be sure to pass on kudos to the beach team. The walk to Pu’upehe (Sweetheart Rock) is one of our favorite hikes as well. The next time you visit you will have to try the Fisherman’s Trail Hike. We look forward to welcoming you back to Lana’i in the near future.

A Hui Hou,

Beautiful resort. Stunning newly upgraded room with full width deck and floor to ceiling windows. Tropical forest setting, overlooking the beach. This is a perfect place to leave the world behind and decompress. Though it does have full internet access. Restaurants provide excellent food and service. Though breakfast for two can cost over $100. Staff always remember your name, and are always prepared to accommodate your needs. Well done Staff!
