Could not be a better, more relaxing location. Beautiful views, hotel maintainence and people working there. Magnificent grounds.Don't miss an evening dinner at Hotel Lanai. Nothing more to be said, I love it!

Room Tip: No bad rooms. Have stayed there 4 times now and never been disappointed

In terms of location, there is no better, in terms of service and friendly staff, this is top class. Rooms were superb, and immaculately cleaned with large bathrooms. The pool was fantastic and the beach were excellent, with free snorkelling kit to borrow. Out in the bay the reef was superb and for two days there were schools of dolphins in the bay! Overall, what a lovely resort and hotel!

What an incredible facility and location. Staff were very attentive and hotel is immaculate. I agree with other reviewers... best hotel I have ever stayed at. Food is fantastic, room service is incredible and every employee treated us with an amazing amount of kindness and respect. Great for couples and small kids. Dolphins in the bay daily made for fantastic viewing too!

Room Tip: the entire location is amazing. i can't imagine there could be a bad room here!

Private reserved area on the island, with its own beach and gold course. Huge grounds with luscious and beautiful landscape. Epic views with exceptional staff. Pretty pricy but you pay for what you get, luxury. Tons of activities, small drive into town, but hands down an overall great relaxing and memorable experience. Wish I could do this once a year.

We stayed first at the Four Seasons Wailea on Maui and then ferry'd over to the Lanai Manele Bay Four Seasons. There seem to be only two resorts on Lanai - Four Seasons Manele Bay and Four Seasons Lodge. No other resorts. Choose the Manele Bay location. It has gorgeous open-air views of the ocean and the lovely pool right in the middle. The restaurants are all facing the pool and ocean as well. Great views everywhere. The beach is large and gorgeous. If you walk along the end of the beach, there is a small hike up some rocks to one of the most gorgeous beach areas I have ever seen - Sweetheart Rock. GO SEE IT! The spa is small but has everything you need. Be sure to rent a jeep to check out the whole island. The island is super tiny and most roads are unpaved to all the beaches. The roads to the beaches are super rocky, unpaved, red dirt and dusty but fun. Adventure awaits! Let me know if you have questions. Their breakfast buffet on Sunday was amazing. Lovely resort.

Room Tip: try to get ocean view. the rest of the grounds are wild grass or rock. unkempt

Aloha JessieStarr,

Greetings from paradise! I'm so glad to learn you had the opportunity to experience the island and it sounds like you explored every inch of the beautiful landscape. The hike to Sweetheart Rock is one of my favorite activities, as it's just a short walk from the resort and opens up to panoramic views. Thank you for the nice feedback regarding the well appointed resort, overlooking the ocean, as well as the incredible views from all of the restaurants. There's nothing better than enjoying exquisite cuisine while looking out over a turquoise bay - it truly is paradise here. Thank you again for the great review and I hope to welcome you back again soon.

A hui hou,

Charles Fisher

This was a most relaxing place, with a beach below where the dolphins come right in and you can swim pretty close! Has a teenager retreat and nice sports bar.

Only low point is there is only one swimming pool, and it's not big

After staying at the Four Seasons in Maui last year, which was one of the best vacations ever, we were hesitant to try the Four Seasons on Lanai. While its a different experience, it was in some ways more enjoyable because it wasn't as crowded. Excellent restaurants and typical Four Seasons service and attention to detail, plenty to keep us busy and the hotel is gorgeous. It's so much more restful and peaceful on Lanai without the throngs of tourists. We got the same benefits from our travel agent as we got in Maui (Virtuoso agency free breakfast, a room upgrade and $100 spending money), which we appreciated. Next year were going to split up our Hawaii trip and stay 4 nights at Manele Bay and then take the ferry to Maui for 4 nights at Four Seasons Wailea. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Shuttle service around the island for our stay was a good deal. About $50 for the week.
