“Very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

If you want to understand the history of the island and the people, this is worth a visit. The volunteer inside was also very helpful and a mine of information as she has lived and worked on the island

“Interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

Having visited Lanai 6 times, we have become interested in the history of the island, Even though the facility is small, there is a lot of information to view and is organized in a nice manner. It was also interesting to listen to a lecture given by a person who actually worked in the fields who helped with the pineapple harvests.

“Do not miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

If you have any interest at all in Hawaiian culture you must stop here. In a small, intimate setting you can learn a lot about Hawaii and Lana'i in particular. You can ask questions and get answers from folks who know, have lived, and wish to preserve the culture.

“Reviving Plantation times History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

It's a beautiful and small museum dedicated to the history of Lani's plantation times, it's most affluent age when Dole had acres and acres of pineapple. Lanai used to be the world's largest exporter of this fruit but some decades ago it all finished (business was moved to other countries).
