“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

I spent a great deal of time at this small but very rich in content museum. Learn all about Lana'i in a great and personalized setting where Simon and team will guide you through years of a very rich history. Some fantastic artifacts are on display from the different era's in addition of some great chronological boards.

Whether you like history or not, this should be your first stop on Lanai!

“Well done, worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We spent more than an hour looking at the well displayed artifacts and information. We had the pleasure to speak with Simon, who was working that morning as well as a local gentleman who has lived most of his life on Lanai. It was interesting to speak with this WW II veteran about his life in Lanai.

“A great way to learn Lanai's history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

A stop at the Lanai Culture & Heritage Center gave us a better understanding of the island's past. It was interesting to see the photos and memorabilia from the pineapple plantation days.

The staff are always friendly and enthusiastic to share Lanai with visitors.

With the price to visit being free, it's a no brainer to include in any Lanai vacation.

“Tiny but worth the trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

The beauty of the island, it's serenity. The "town" is very small, one supermarket, a few coffee shops. Only 2 main roads. Make sure to drive your Jeep to the Beach Wreck but expect quite a journey on the dirt roads! Unfortunately couldn,t see the East coast, the rental car agency wouldn,t let us drive there, dirt roads too wet and dangerous.Small but interesting Heritage Cultural Center In Lanai, the lady in charge was very knowledgeable, many artifacts. Felt welcomed by everyone there. Very convenient small harbor right beside the Four Seasons hotel to go snorkeling, scuba diving etc...

“Island history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

Lanai island has an interesting history and the cultural centre has done a great job of telling that storey . Their displays and artifacts are well done and staff are very helpful . It compliments your physical visits to the parts of the island such as the garden of the gods and Keomoku . Put an hour aside to visit it .
