“Quiet, unique.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013

We rented a car and drove to this beach. We saw few others as our family of five explored the beach.

“Rusted sip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

It's difficult to get there you are not sure how far you can drive to get there. Surf rough not safe for swimming when we were there.

“Nice lagoon, great snorkeling, very deserted”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Took the jeep out to shipwreck beach. We were suprised by the size of the lagoon, and the reef break is at least a couple of hundred yards off the beach. Great snorkely, also noticed a few locals diving for crab and octopus. This side of the island was noticably warmer and humid during our visit, recommend making sure you bring suit, towel, chair, and shade. Oh, and be very careful about how far you take the jeep down the sand road.....

“I can see why it wrecked”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

It was a great view, Stay on the beach when walking to the shipwreck beach. It was way to windy to enjoy the view we took a few quick pictures and headed back. Go on a clear day with no wind. If its windy skip it and take pictures from the beach area where the jeeps stop. We were there in the windy season I was told it was rare that the wind was this strong so good luck. Don't get me wrong I liked it. Rainbow Photo courtesy of Aaac service heating and air Mcdonough. Bring your lunch there is nothing for miles.

“Unusual beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

At least the drive to the beach is not bad like most other places in Lanai. You need a fair amount of time to walk the beach and find stuff. The old concrete ship is interesting. The surf was too rough for good snorkeling on this day.
