“Nice view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

I drove and then hiked to a spot where I could look out and see the shipwreck. I would have liked to have seen a plaque describing the name of the ship and when it was shipwrecked.

“Nice Views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Nice view of the shipwreck - naturally - and the surrounding islands, although not a beach for swimming or relaxing - VERY windy, strong currents, rocky. A good morning drive.

“Shipwreck was interestIng but the turtles stole the show!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

We had fun walking the beach. But, by far, watching the turtles feed at the shore was the main attraction!

“Good Views and Beachcombing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

Shipwreck is a great beach to visit for the experience, but you can't really swim at it due to the rough current. It has nice views of Maui, Molokai, and of course the rusted ghostly ship. To be safe we parked where the sand reached sea level and the trail started to open up so we didn't get stuck. From here it is about a 15 minute walk down the beach before you round the corner and see the ship. Along the way is good beachcombing if you like that sort of thing.

“Sea turtle haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

We watched the sea turtles swimming around. Honestly could have spent my whole day doing that! Very peaceful & relaxing. You need a 4 wheel drive to get there...rent a jeep.
