I'm awaiting my flight back to Oahu on Hawaiian Airlines (not happy about them!) but that is not the point of this review. No, the point of this review is to tell you about Sealodge F8 and what we experienced while there.
It is a well maintained and well cared for 2 bedroom condo. Although a bit dated in its construction, it has been kept up to date with a nice oven/stove, new refridgerator and bathroom tile work. The instructions for the condo were perfect, detailing in a caring way what to expect and what was expected.
The facilities outside were stuning as it sits on the edge of a bluff a couple hundred feet above the ocean. The nearby pool might be a distraction if there were a lot of people there (summer) but when we went, the pool was mostly empty. The grass is meticulously kept and the grounds are covered with flowers and plants along cement paths.
There is a walk or a hike, depending upon your physical abilities, that winds down to a secluded beach where the black crabs click-clack on the rocks as they chase each other and the surf pounds on the reef 2 hundred yards away. Between you and the reef is coral rock ... so bring your snorkel gear and water shoes as the fish are very pretty to see in the shallow water.
To close out, the condo is clean and has a small library of books and hiking books to rest and relax with. The only downside we had were a few tiny black ants in the kitchen area and the folks who smoked on the lanai below us. It drifted up into the dining area while we ate.
All in all a fantastic time.
Jack
