I'm awaiting my flight back to Oahu on Hawaiian Airlines (not happy about them!) but that is not the point of this review. No, the point of this review is to tell you about Sealodge F8 and what we experienced while there.

It is a well maintained and well cared for 2 bedroom condo. Although a bit dated in its construction, it has been kept up to date with a nice oven/stove, new refridgerator and bathroom tile work. The instructions for the condo were perfect, detailing in a caring way what to expect and what was expected.

The facilities outside were stuning as it sits on the edge of a bluff a couple hundred feet above the ocean. The nearby pool might be a distraction if there were a lot of people there (summer) but when we went, the pool was mostly empty. The grass is meticulously kept and the grounds are covered with flowers and plants along cement paths.

There is a walk or a hike, depending upon your physical abilities, that winds down to a secluded beach where the black crabs click-clack on the rocks as they chase each other and the surf pounds on the reef 2 hundred yards away. Between you and the reef is coral rock ... so bring your snorkel gear and water shoes as the fish are very pretty to see in the shallow water.

To close out, the condo is clean and has a small library of books and hiking books to rest and relax with. The only downside we had were a few tiny black ants in the kitchen area and the folks who smoked on the lanai below us. It drifted up into the dining area while we ate.

All in all a fantastic time.

Wow! The views from your condo are amazing, walking up to them was wonderful, and the trade winds made us feel as we were on the beach. The condo is so cozy, like a home and beautifully decorated. It had all that we needed to cook and quick meal instead of eating out all the time; too much to do on Kauai to worry about restaurants for each meal. Thanks so much for your help and we will call again! Maholo!

I do agree if you see the condos from the outside they do look ugly but as soon as we entered the door we were overwhelmed.
From de interior ( cozy bed beautiful furnished living room, great kitchen and all supplies you need for your stay) to the exterior ( the views are amazing never saw a sunrise so unreal in my life ) it is so much more than we ever could ask for.
It was our final part of our long vacation and we ended our Hawaii adventure in paradise.
Wished we could say “ thank you” to the owners personally but we hope they read this review

My husband & I stayed 3 nights. Loved it. Condo F9 was well equipped with all kitchen needs and beach stuff, plus it is newly renovated and extra clean.. Has spectacular views of the ocean and the mountains. Very private on 3rd floor no condos next door. Location is excellent...minutes to snorkeling, kayaking, Na Pali hiking. Also grocery store and restaurants are less than a mile from condo.

This was our first trip to Kauai. We booked condo E10 purely from photos we saw online. We have never booked a condo online before so we truly did not know what to expect. We arrived after dark our first night so finding the property was tad difficult but not horrid. We walked in to a very stuffy condo, quickly opened the windows and then were blown way but the incredible view that awaited us from every window in the place. Even in the dark we knew we had found a slice of heaven on earth. Everywhere we looked were beautiful ocean vistas. The stuffiness in the condo disappeared once the windows were opened and the ocean breeze blew in. There was no need for air conditioning at all.
We had everything we needed in the condo. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, t he furniture was comfy and nice, we had a TV, movies, cd player and cds to choose from, even board games if needed, plus chairs/umbrellas for the beach, all the cooking utensil you could possibly need, a washer and dryer, you name it, it was there.
Our only complaints were the bathroom towels were worse than what you find at a Motel 6! And the bathroom had no air circulation. It was humid to stand in the bathroom after your shower. Since it was just my husband and I staying, we just got dressed in the bedroom area, but if you had more than 2 staying in the condo (which is possible because the couch pulls out) the bathroom would become a real issue.
The owners suggested you wash towels often (and that you bring your own beach towels) so I did a load every night. Not a problem and actually I count this a plus for the condo. We would enjoy our views from our deck each night while laundry was going.
The outside of the condos were ugly..truly. They are shake so they are very weathered and old looking BUT do not judge by the outside. We loved our little condo and would go back in a flash.
