It was pouring down rain (which is seems to do in Kauai frequently) and we were searching for a place to have a drink and eat. We quickly nixed the St. Regis and saw the Westin sign as we left and decided to try it. The restaurant is downstairs. We got the table near the waterfall and if it hadn't been raining, we would have been eating in the open. As it was, they had dropped clear plastic screens to keep it dry. Very good service from David. Three of us had the rib eye which was huge and cooked perfectly. Another had the seafood pasta which looked yummy. I thought it was pretty overpriced though. But is the way Hawaii is. However David did steer us to a wonderful bottle of red wine for only $30!!! Imagine that?!? That's the second great restaurant wine buy I've experienced in Hawaii this trip. Very welcome indeed.
