Description: On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

“A Hawaiian Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

Dukes is a great reliable place to enjoy a good meal, drinks and a great view. The staff are very nice and the food is consistent. We were staying at the Marriott, so we just walked over. Go for drinks and PuPus.

“You Will Enjoy It”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

I have eatten here every year that i go to Kauai. Thats like the last 5 yrs. Nice view, good service, and the price is right. During Happy Hour theres music. nice ocean view. It gets crowed when the cruise ship is in port. A lot of passangers seem to drink there. Please try the Hula PIE. Its great. One slice is good for 2 or 3 people.

“Great location, good prices, great time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We went there during happy hour 4-6 and were surprised at a lot of the values during that time, especially for Kauai. We were basically able to eat off the happy hour menu and save a ton of money, and it was tasty. Save room for the Hula Pie, its something else. Also the Mai Tai's were quite tasty.

“Nice beer selection”

Good place for lunch with a beer. As with all Duke's, location, location, location! Fish tacos are a good choice.

“Nice Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

This adults is all open air dining a nice waterfall flowing through the middle. The salad bar is simple, but very good and fresh. Lots of fresh, fish on the menu and it .is good. The is prompt and friendly. The price is typical of a resort (a little over priced for what it is). I would recommend this place and the bar makes some great island drinks.
