We walked to the Feral Pig hoping to have an enjoyable lunch. They were friendly on our entering and it was a short wait, Hawaiin Time, for the waitress. We ordered our drinks and food and had a look around. Now the menu isn't very large so it is pretty easy to look through and since it is small the food should be really good as there aren't as many itmes to prepare...right?
We waited for our food, and waited, and joked about being on "Hawaiin Time" and then waited some more. After a long wait we still waited some more. When we did receive our meal my wifes chowder was not hot and the sandwiches and fries were luke warm. The flavor was not all that it was hyped up to be. There are plenty of other places to eat in the area so that medicore food doesn't need to be eaten. Sorry Feral Pig but the Kalapaki Sloppy was just medicore. The clam chowder was about average. We both agreed that the Kalapaki Beach Hut across the strett has much better food and service.
