This is worth a quick stop if you are in the Poipu Beach area. We took some great shots of the shore and the Spouting Horn in action. Also observed a pair of monk seals frolicking in the water beside the Spouting Horn.

I have been to Kauai many times, and we always make a stop at Spouting Horn. The actual spout is worth a look, but not worth a trip if you are not in the area. But, there are tents set up by the parking lot that are possibly some of the best deals on the island. You can buy anything from touristy shot glasses, to things hand crafted out of shell, to authentic gold jewerly. It really is worth the stop for the shopping deals. And usually you can even speak to the people who have made the crafts.

Why are all those people crowding against that railing? WOW! And it happens again, and again, and again. The water rushes in and spurts up like a geyser!

Although you won't stay too long, this is pretty awesome. Beautiful and a great spot for some pics. The sounds are also eerie and cool!
