Relaxed, open air, varied menu, fresh local fish, reasonable prices, interesting cocktails. All this adds up to a recipe for success at this small open air place in the historic Kong Lung market, on the way to the coastal lighthouse (a popular outing for island visitors.) Ate there more than once during stay, but each time we had the purple sweet potato fries with chipotle sauce - and were hooked! Great as a shared appetizer. Yummy Ginger Russian (martini of vodka, ginger liqueur and fresh lime juice.) Solid mai tais, nice list of wines by glass/bottles. Three different entrees over two dinners: grilled catch of the day, mac nut encrusted mahi with soy glaze, winter pasta (shitake mushrooms, asparagus in butternut squash sauce.) Beet salad and baby kale salad were excellent. Service friendly, everyone from hostess to servers make sure plates are presented to entire table simultaneously. Entrees $15 to $26. A nice meal can be made of an appetizer and salad. Observed locals meeting each there at various tables; there is a small lounge area and appears the bar area is popular with folks stopping to meet up over a few drinks, in no hurry to leave.
