We stayed 6 nights at the Aloha Beach Resort as a Shell TIme share inducement for the Kuaui Coast Resort at the Beachboy.
We had a garden view room but we could not open the window which was filthy. There are two small pools and a spa although I never saw anyone in the circular pool. We found the second pool on our third day. The hotel is convenient to the beach at Lydgate park which is very nice for small children and beginning snorkelers (two rock enclosed areas with tropical fish).
The hotel reception looked nice as do the grounds but the carpets in the hotel corridors were worn and the rooms look tired (in need of refurbishment). We were on the second floor but the elevatior did not work all week. We did not use the restuarant as the selection was limited and breakfast was expensive but we had some drinks on the open air terrace. Try Scottys for barbeque in Kapaa which has ocean front dining.
We liked the Kuaui Coast resort more when we went for the time share presentation but did not buy.
