So frequently good restaurants focus on food and then skimp on the drinks, with watery or poorly mixed cocktails. Eastside pulls off great food (steak was excellent) but the drinks were the standout. The waitress told me the juice for each cocktail is fresh squeezed, but I doubted her until I tasted the Tangerine Martini, and then went back for the Grapefruit Martini.
A little odd that you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to use the bathroom, but easily overlooked for the food, drinks, and friendly, helpful staff.
