“Great fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

We had a great time on the Zip Express! This was our first time doing a zip line. Andy and Mark were fantastic guides - helpful, funny, encouraging - all the things a guide should be. They were particularly attentive to those for which this was their first zip-line experience or who had some trepidation in doing it.

The zip-lines generally increased in length and allowed first-timers to build up their courage for the big one - King Kong! As other reviewers have commented, there are no restroom facilities once you leave the starting area, but they make sure you're well aware of that in advance. They do have a water facility mid-way through to refill water bottles.

A note of caution to those who want to hold hands on the tandem King Kong line, though - hold on real tight or you end up getting pulled apart by gravity!

We had great weather for the zip experience but I could see how it may not be as enjoyable if it were raining or even recently rained - there is a bit of hiking that would be muddy.

The zip line was great fun, but Andy and Mark made it even better.

“The BEST Riding Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

The horses are working animals NOT head-to-tail dude horses. The guides are well-trained in all aspects of teaching and safety. Our guide - Will- was completely aware of all the people in the group, kindly encouraging and teaching as we went. He was full of information about the area's mountains and history. The lady who also teaches equestrian riding, trains the horses gently so they work as a team, rather than out of fear. A trusting horse is the best one to have under you! A wonder-filled, scenic ride!

“Absolutely memorable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Just our family was on the tour. Jesston and Maria were our guides through the 9 zip lines. We had so much fun and absolutely recommend this outing to everyone! We had a 7 sharp departure time so we were alone on the ranch. It was a cloudy morning so the temperature was just right for the zipping, a little chilly for the swimming pond. This is a must-do!!!!

“Really fun adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

My husband, two teenage daughters and I did the Zip n Dip with this company. What a great experience! Jacob and Katie were really fun and informative.
You are driven out to the ranch, where there are short walks to all the zip lines. Before the last few zips youre taken to a waterfall and swimming hole, and fed lunch.

The ranch is beautiful, the views amazing, and the ziplines are super fun!!

It was about $150 per person. BUT, as of December 2013, the Costco in Lihue was selling $100 gift certificates to Princeville Ranch for $80. The only stipulation is that you have to book the tour directly through the Ranch, not a discount website.

“Fun adventure, beautiful scenery, fantastic guides!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

We had such a great day on the Jungle Safari Adventure at the Princeville Ranch- a moderate hike, peaceful kayak down a small jungle stream, and 2 zip lines. It was perfect amount of adventure but not too difficult for our children - ages 6-12. The picnic lunch at the watering hole was so much fun and the guides were fun, patient with our crazy kids and full of interesting information about the island's history and the native plants and animals. It was pretty expensive, but definitely worth it. Our kids wanted to go back again the next day!
