Went on the horseback/waterfall lunch ride and had a great time. The horses are “follow on the trail horses” but they will go will you tell them. After getting on your horses you go for a nice leisurely ride to the dismount point. From there, you hike a short distance to the waterfall. It may be a short distance but it is up a big hill, down a steep hill to the falls. The falls are awesome and you and the folks you rode with are the only ones there. You can walk under the falls or stand in them. There is a great pool at the base of the falls. At the falls, your guide serves a nice lunch of a deli sandwich 9with good fixings_ and chips and a cookie; it was nice sitting by the falls eating it. Once you leave the falls, you go back a different route where you cross at the top of the falls (tied in) and have to climb a small rock wall (the overweight out of shape lady on our trip made it). Once back to the horses, it is a nice ride back to where you parked. Our guide was excellent, friend, loved to take pictures for you, etc. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it.
