We had an early dinner at this modest-sized restaurant on the main street of Hanalei. Its appearance is unremarkable from the outside, but the ambience is quite wonderful on the inside. When we arrived at 5 p.m. (starting time for dinner) there was already live music: a guy with a guitar. Our waiter was pleasant and provided good service. Food and drinks were good, if not especially memorable. We had lightly cooked ono (with al dente vegetables) and angel-hair pasta with shrimp. There was only a single item for dessert, a spice cake with some ice cream, but it was delicious. It was fairly pricey for a simple restaurant, but it appears to be popular: all tables were taken by 6 p.m. There were a few outside tables on the front porch. A major part of the menu involves pizza. The restaurant is said to do a luau twice a week.
