“Expensive and a big disappointment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Hotel staff really encouraged us to dine at their "high end" seaside restaurant. We did eat at the water's edge but the menu was pretty ordinary and EXPENSIVE. The food/menu was not very creative for being the property's premiere eatery.

“Paying for good food and amazing views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

KPC is a resort restaurant and priced as such. Definitely plan on spending more than you will feel your food is worth. However, the food is very good, the service is good, and the views are amazing. You're paying for the experience of a meal while watching a Kona sunset. Focus on that, rather than the $50 fish, and you'll have a great experience.

“Yummy! -”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We ate dinner at the KPC - and it was wonderful. We sat outside right by the beach and it was wonderful. Everything from appetizer to dessert was very good. This was our anniversary dinner so we splurged for a special occasion.

“Honeymoon Highlight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

What can I say but absolutely romantic! We made reservations online and noted that we were newly married and on our honeymoon. They sat us on the water, which normally has an upcharge, and gave us excellent service. We watched the sun go down, and the stars come out. We had ordered the perfectly cooked medium rare steak and delicious lobster, and to top it off they gave us dessert on the house. We had the mauna kea dessert with marsh-mellow, chocolate mouse, and macadamia nuts. It was AMAZING! I was so impressed and my new husband and I are so pleased with the service. Pricey but well worth it! Can't beat it!

“KPC”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Great views and ambience right on the ocean but 52 bucks for a small piece of fish made me want to go back to the condo and eat fresh ahi that I bought at Costco--22.00 for a pound and a half!
