“I don't get these reviews sometimes...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

I am an avid reader of trip advisor and on our last trip to the big island in Feb. we made sure to hit this place for breakfast. It is inexpensive and with 3 adults and 1 child traveling that was a nice break but the food was not great. Even the large scone was dry and unappealing. Staff was nice, tables were sticky and coffee was sub par. Overall not worth the drive.

“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

Breakfast today was delicious. Before coming to Waikoloa Beach Resort I did my research and the name Dave's kept coming up. Wanted a true "local" breakfast and boy did we find it. So warm and welcoming. Great food, low price. Crazy location.
Going back before I leave. Almost don't want this gem to get out

“Save some money & hit up this diamond in the rough, well worth it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

On our honeymoon at Waikoloa villiage we realized very quick that meals are very expensive. We found this wonderful local spot on trip advisor & so happy we did! We both got full breakfast (3 eggs, homefries, choice of meat, fresh fruit & toast) for $5 a piece!! The service was great as well. It's cash only & the woman working told us to order & eat & then we could hit up the ATM across the street. I mean who does that! So accommodating! We highly recommend Daves

“Never would have stopped here without Tripadvisor.”

Great food. Mostly locals eating here, which is always a good sign. The pancakes at the next table looked amazing - next time!

“Only Place to Go for Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Had breakfast here last week based on reviews we had read...we were not disappointed! A real touch of Hawaii in an unexpected location (look across the street from the shopping center!), with fabulous breakfasts at unbelievable prices. Even if you're not staying in Waikoloa Village, go out of your way and come here! Only wish we had gone earlier in our trip to get more recommendations from Malcom!
