“We love our time at King's Land”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012

We own at King's Land and enjoy our stay each and every time. The staff treat you well and the rooms are excellent. We enjoy making breakfast each morning and eating on the lanai. The concierge staff are knowledgeable and will find the right experience for you. Very laid back experience compared to other more crowded resort areas. When you stay here it will be hard to go back to just a standard hotel room.

Room Tip: Standard is ground floor, Plus is second floor and premier is top floor. Otherwise the rooms are ver...

These condos were really nice. Decor and amenities were top notch. The only 2 complaints I would have are that the pool bar closes down at 6 and so if you want a drink after a long day of sightseeing it is not available. Also the pull out bed in the living room is about as comfortable as sleeping on a concrete floor. Would defintiely stay here again.

Let me begin by stating up front that I own a week at Kings Land, so I'm hardly an unbiased reviewer. But I also own property at four other resorts and I have stayed at perhaps a dozen others across the country. So I know something about timeshares.

First, the good news. The swimming pools are truly special, with pools set aside for kids, adults, active swimmers, and those who like water slides. The poolside bar and cafe are in the shade, well staffed, and just plain fun places to gather. The drink specials change daily and are reasonably priced. The staff members are well trained and pleasant.

Second, every time Hilton builds a new property it skimps a little more on space (but not price). Although the units have complete kitchens, a dining table, and a living room, the fact of the matter is all three are one and the same. Four people in a unit better be getting along, because there's no place to go sulk.

My biggest complaint, though, is that the master bedroom and the master bathroom are separated only by a thin curtain. Whoever thought of this cost-saving idea ought to be forced to spend a lifetime sharing their bedroom with their partner's bathroom sounds and smells.

Just for the record, the second bedroom has its bathroom across the hall and the one-bedroom units have an old-fashioned (and preferred) set-up where the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a door.

Room Tip: The Kings Land HGVC resort is only about half built. The newer units are under construction (and fo...

We had a great 2 bedroom villa for our family. Were glad positioned close to pool. Pool was amazing. Were disappointed pool slide hours were only 10-5 as often wanted to return to hotel from daily tours to use pool slides in evening and could not. Also wished we were ocean front. However, if you're aware of these 2 drawbacks and don't mind, you'll find a very gorgeous property. We went to the main Hilton (about a mile away) daily and really enjoyed swimming in the salt water lagoon there.

Room Tip: ask for room closest to main lodge

This property should be on your "must stay" list. It is beautiful. Everything inside and out is clean, lush and gorgeous. The room we stayed in was two bedroom, two bathroom with a kitchen. We had a wonderful view from the lanai overlooking the pool and waterfall. There were more pools north on the property that were just as majestic. We enjoyed this property as it was quiet and very clean. All the staff were extremely friendly. Everything was better than first-class. The food was wonderful as well. Close to shopping, golf and restaurants. Truly an amazing property that shouldn't be missed.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pools are the best.

We stayed for 8 days in building number 9 in a beautiful room on the third floor. The grounds here are perfect, peaceful and extremely quiet. There were hardly any children, mainly couples, the pools are big and laid out with lots of water fountains. The evening fire is great to sit by and enjoy a drink. Staff is so helpful and polite. Hilton has really out done themselves with ths property! Looking forward to going back.....

A few tips we have learned in our mant trips. Go up the hill to waikola village market to buy your main groceries. The queens market is pricey. The market at the mani lain shops has the best deli!

Site has a great gym.....and it was busy.

Room Tip: If your a big pool user, you will want to be in buildings 5 or 7.

We stayed at Kings Land for a week with another couple, the fourth Grand Vacation property we have stayed and the best so far. Great two bedroom setup, good layout, great beds, linens, well done kitchen and excellent support service. Our concierge, Raquel, could not have been more helpful setting up golf and dinners and checked on us several times. (We are owners.) The support service was the best we have experienced as twice we called maintenance and they were there under 5 minutes (told us the standard is 15 minute response time). The location is away from the beach and on the Kings course which suited us fine. Nice touch was several outdoor gas BBQs that were busy especially at night and were cleaned every morning.....we used one evening and made for an excellent "in home" meal. Recommend this property to anyone.
