My husband and I actually spent 8 nights at the Volcano Inn. We had previously stayed there last year when we visited and loved it so much we came back! We used the location as a good mid-way point between Hilo, Volcano, and the South Point area, so our day trips to those locations was very easy. The room was wonderful, clean, and very quiet! There was also a great view of the rainforest. We booked the Kilauea Iki room which also had a small kitchen there with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, sink, and all the dishes/silverware needed so we were able to make simple meals in the room when we wanted. You can't be the price either, with an average of $70 per night. The location is perfect to the Hawaii Volcano National Park, and you are close to the restaurants in Volcano. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are in the area!
