“Great for Gluten Free and Soy Free eating!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

I was so excited to find this little place. I had heard about it and when we came across it we wanted to try it. If you have food allergies like me it can frustrating when traveling to find a place that has allergy free and has great food. This is a great place for to accommodate that and I was able to enjoy the treat with my family. Fresh fruit and deliciously made! I would highly recommend.

“Retro vibe and great smoothies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

Leaving the Hawaiian tropical gardens this cute little place caught our eye. We had ice charm and smoothies, but the smoothies are the best.

“Surprising find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

We were headed back to Hilo from the Hawai'i Tropical Botanical Garden and came upon this little smoothie restaurant kind out in the middle of nowhere. We stopped in to see what kind of food they had because we were all very hungry. What a great surprise this place was, it had great food-yummy sandwichs and wraps, and I had a great tamale plate. They also sell some of their fresh fruits and veggies. If you are in the Hilo area it's definitely worth a little drive up there to check them out, it's only about 8-9 miles north of Hilo.

“Simply Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013 via mobile

Excellent smoothies with fruit from the premises. Went for a short walk on the property and found a perfect banana on the ground under a banana tree. Wonderful fare, organic, I think, and very generous owners. Fortunately we're staying only a few miles away cause we'll be back.

“Great place to stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

The smoothies were fantastic! Pure fruit and juice, no ice or sugar added, and most of the fruit in them is grown on the trees out back. We also shared some chicken nachos, which were quite good. The pico-style salsa that went with them was great! So fresh and flavorful. My husband had a pineapple muffin and he said it was the best dessert he had on our trip (like a mini pineapple upside-down cake).

There was sheltered seating outside and the atmosphere was very beautiful (quiet, lots of trees). The restroom was nice and clean (probably the nicest one we used on the whole trip). Also, the women working there were very friendly. It was a great little place to stop.
