We have stayed with Jim and Amy twice now, and I can honestly say they have the best bed and breakfast in Hawaii. We have stayed at many, and I mean many b&b,s and Hawaii Paradise Suite is the best by far!!!!!!! The others do not even come close. Jim and Amy know how to run a B&B, and they make sure your stay is an experience to cherish.
The facilities are second to none, the breakfast is awesome, try the Dim Sum, you will be hooked. The pool is so refreshing you will not want to get out of it. The grounds are incredible, I thought they were beautiful the first trip, they were even more beautiful this time. I can't wait till next time to see what they have done.
Your host's Jim and Amy are kind, honest, honorable, and want to make sure you enjoy yourselves. They go the extra mile and are happy to do so.
Do yourselves a huge favor and go stay with Jim and Amy at the Hawaii Paradise Suite, you will thank yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can go on for days and days about how wonderful the experience was but for me, the proof is in the pudding. Will I go back for a third time with them?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have not only found a wonderful place to stay, but, have found three new friends, Jim, Amy and Hunter.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We were treated to a delicious breakfast each morning and could choose from a variety of international menu options. The suite was gorgeous and really took our breath away when we entered for the first time. Jim and his wife were both very warm throughout our stay, plus he offered a number of great options for places we could go while we were on the Big Island. The location is great for reaching the Volcanoes National Park as well as seeing the lava flow at night. Plus, there are numerous beaches, waterfalls, and places to hike in the area as well. I wish we could have stayed longer than our two nights. We definitely hope to return again soon!

My husband and I found Hawaii Paradise Suite the perfect place to stay in Hilo/Keaau.
The Starlight Suite and grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The pool was clean and inviting. Our hosts Jim and Amy Lee were friendly, gracious and made us feel welcome. They were prepared for our stay and offered everything we needed, including maps and sightseeing options. The international breakfasts served on the lanaii every morning were wonderful way to start the day! The rates are very reasonable.
We would definetly stay here again and recommend Hawaii Paradise Suite to anyone traveling to this area.

I'm a frequent visitor to the islands and this time I select a Bed & Breakfast accommodation instead of the hustle and bustle of a hotel environment. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation I ever encounter due to the open space and the peaceful surroundings. I really enjoy the morning walk down to the beach cliff and sitting outside in the patio listening to natural sounds at night. According to Jim, from Nov -March you can observe the Humpback Whales migration to the Hawaii Island each year from the beach cliff.
I was impressed with the outdoor/indoor amenities that were offered. The complete privacy of your lodging area such as mini library room with Internet access and the master bedroom with private bathroom separate from the entertainment room. The outdoor pool with a deck, a BBQ pit to provide a luncheon/dinner events for your guests and family, and the activities for miniature golf course/volleyball court/iron wood horseshoe pit.
During my stay Jim assisted me with purchasing a fresh catch 10 lb. Ahi Tuna from a roadside vendor for $2 a pound in the morning. We return to his place where we clean, fillet and marinate to steak size portion. That night we barbecue and enjoy a mini luau with soft Hawaiian music in the background.
Jim and Amy were perfect hostesses and they were able to anticipate the leisure pace that I was seeking. Jim provided a continuous positive interaction and we were able to discuss a wide range of subjects.
For those of you who are contemplating on relocating to Hawaii, Jim and his neighbors can provide an honest in depth prospective of fabricating a custom home or purchasing an existing home.
For those of you who are ballroom dancing enthusiast, Jim and Amy are members of the Big Island Ballroom Dancer Association & Hilo Bay Ballroom Dancer Club and you can be guest at their Friday night events.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to singles, couples, and families. This Bed & Breakfast is equivalent to a personal weekend getaway home thus making it very affordable and the best value for your money.

So Much Better Than We Expected!
We chose this B&B based on price and location. We had only been in Hawaii one other time, on the Kona side, in June of 2006 and found it a bit too commercialized. We love the convenience of a hotel, but but decided to try a smaller B&B. The purpose of this trip was to visit friends and see the sites in Hilo area. I was very worried about the service in a smaller establishment, but found the personalized service of the owners Jim and Amy simply amazing. Not only did they provide all the information about what to do in the area, they provided personal transporation to the sites as well. Each morning, we had our choice of an American or Asian breakfast. Before each outing, we spent time in the private pool. After sightseeing we were able to relax on the luscious grounds of the B&B that we had all to ourselves. On the second night, we too tired to go out to dinner so we stayed on the grounds and enjoyed a BBQ dinner prepared on site.
Being ballroom dancing enthusiasts, we were surprised to find that the proprietors had a large selection of music for all the dances we loved, including waltz, foxtrots, rumba and cha cha. We found out that Jim and Amy are ballroom dancers and spent the evening comparing notes and steps. Absolutely amazing - no other places that we stayed had such appropriate music for our enjoyment. Oh yes, this facility was very clean too. We had a WONDERFUL TIME!! We enjoyed ourselves immensely, and want others to know that they can too!
