The Wagon Tour was a really fun, interesting experience. One of the guides's family had lived in the valley for over 100 years and added an interesting perspective to the history and culture of the area. The other guide was very knowledgeable in the nature and wildlife of the valley. We didn't do this, but it would be great to take the wagon tour for the history / nature and do's and don'ts, and then hike down and up the valley on your own, after learning the correct respect the valley and it's people. Be aware they don't run the 10:30 tour unless there are enough people (probably 6) to make it worth it to harness the mules. Thanks for a fun, informative afternoon!
