Loved it, loved it, loved it. We stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. We can't say it any better than all these folks...be prepared to have the biggest, most delicious breakfasts of your life. Lonn is fantastic!

We just returned from a 10-night stay on the Big Island. We stayed at the Hale Hualalai for 3 nights, and we loved it! We had never stayed at a B&B before this, and I was a little apprehensive, but this place was great, and it set a very high standard for us in B&Bs.

The views are incredible. Lonn is a terrific host, and his breakfasts are so good. He gave us good information about where to snorkel. There are beach mats and a cooler in the unit, and as we were leaving to snorkel one day, he brought out a boogie board for us to use while we were there.

There is a private lanai in each unit (2 units in all). The bathroom is very nice with a stone floor, stone shower, and private toilet room. There is a stereo with Hawaiian CDs.

This is a very good place to stay if you're planning on doing a lot of snorkeling/water activities. It's only about 10-15 minutes to the water and Kona activities/restaurants.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hale Hualalai and would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

I really can not say enough good things about this B&B. The room which was more like a mini condo was beautiful, quite, and clean. We had a great view and loved sitting out on our private balcony. Lonn's breakfests were like none other and we woke up each morning looking forward to them. Lonn is an amazing host with great recommendations. We can not wait to visit his place again, it really made our trip very special.

We spent 3 perfect nights at the Hale Hualalai in September. Can only reitterate previous reviews. Great accommodation, fantastic food and a superb host in Lonn. (say hi to Doogs and Knucklehead) We had spent 4 weeks in California and Hawaii and this was the highlight of our trip. We will definitely return in the future for hopefully a lot longer than 3 nights.
