“Pesto is a great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Pesto was recommended to us by a local. It was well worth the visit. We visited during the lunch hour. The restaurant was very clean, waitstaff was very polite and professional. Seafood sandwich was fresh as well as the salad greens. During our stay on HI, we never had a bad salad, Every restaurant had fantastic fresh greens. If you visit a restaurant and the salad is bad, the restaurant will probably be bad also. Pesto's was great. The salad dressing which was a citrus vinegarette was delicious. Nothing negative to report at this restaurant. The menu had a lot of choices and the and the prices were reasonable.

“Not so good”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

We were not thrilled with the restaurant. Being northern Italian and from NY the risotto was not prepared properly. It also lacked saffron. The pizza, while done in the wood oven, had jared sauce and a crust not up to par. The service and atmosphere were great.

“Fun and Tasteeeee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

Stopped by without any research based on street appeal and weren't disappointed. Cafe looks like an older store front from the street and has a comfortable, relaxed feel. Hostess was very accommodating, service was quick and the menu provided many choices. My wife is gluten intolerant and the waitress made a couple of checks with the chef to work through options that weren't on the gluten free menu. We liked the restaurant so much that we also visited their other location on the west coast of the island. In short.....food was awesome, prices were reasonable and service was first rate. We'll definitely be back.

“Will definitely return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Great, eclectic selection of food. Wonderful architecture with high ceilings and ceiling fans. Great service also! This place was recommended to us by a nice guy we met - he was tapping at the brewery in town (good beer tasting!) and is also a local food critic/writer. He was spot-on with his description and recommendation - we had a wonderful meal.
