booked this hotel for my family party of 7... ended up getting 3 separate bedrooms...
rooms were old, tired and far from fancy.. close to being decent...
conveniently located less than 10 minutes from HILO airport..
no gym facilities..
nice pool area, i guess..
bathroom was ok.. bedsheets were old and musty smelling...
our rooms were at the very back of the building which was inconvenient for the majority of the senior citizens i was with... their restaurant was decent.. had breakfast there twice..
nice friendly staff.. got some Kamai'na discount but hotel price is still expensive considering the quality of the rooms.. but oh well.. what can you do...
if i would go back to Hilo area.. i probably will check out a different hotel.. not to keen on coming back here for some reason... if price was not high for a so so hotel, i would have reconsidered it.. but even with the Kamai'na discount, still too expensive i think... and I aint no cheapskate...
