“SUCH AN EXCELLENT BASE FOR TOURING TETON NATIONAL PARK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

In Sept - Oct 2012 we toured from the UK to some of the US National Parks for a period of 6 weeks. Travelling by hire car from Glazier on the Canadian border down to Sequoia in California. As with all our previous tours to many countries, we always stay at B&B's. Hence we are well able to recognise a good accomodation when we see it. Equally when you are on the road for this amount of time you certainly want some home comforts.

Well, Teton View B&B certainly falls into this category. Our stay for 6 days was just excellent in all aspects of comfort, food etc. Equally we were always advised on the best places to tour and boy, since we were there in the fall with all its blazing colour, did we have a great time. The scenery around the area is just so wonderful and Jackson such a great place to enjoy. All this and then returning to a comfortable bed at night, is just what any weary traveller requires.

Room Tip: Any rooms and yes some are located up stairs. But, come on, no problem, we are Seniors and my wife h...

We stayed at the Teton View B&B in September. Carol and Franz were great hosts, giving us tips on things to see and do... especially sights that aren't in the standard Tour Books. The only down side of staying at this lovely B&B is hauling bags up a flight of stairs. Our room had a small landing and view of the Tetons.

Room Tip: If you have need of several bedrooms, the B&B has two bedrooms which share a nice sized bathroom...

We loved the location, had amazing views of the mountains, which you can't find in the town of Jackson. Several wonderful restaraunts nearby for dinner and had amazing breakfasts prepared everyday that included fresh fruit! Will definitely stay here again during our next trip to the area!

Room Tip: We stayed in the grand view room which had both an indoor entrance and a separate entrance from the...

We stayed at the cabin and Carol and Franz were one of most gracious and wonderful hosts we have ever had. The cabin was clean and we were greeted by baked goodies each evening. Carol is a wonderful cook and we will never forget the breakfast pizza we had. She accomodated our request for vegetarian food as well. We had an opportunity to meet with their daughter and she is a sweetheart as well. When I told Carol that we were looking forward to roasting marshmellows, she was kind enough to take it a step further and we all enjoyed s'mores one evening! Our kids enjoyed playing with Otto and still remember him. An excellent overall experience and a wonderful stay with amazing view of Tetons:) - Vai and Harshal Haridas

We spent three mid-October nights in the Cabin. The location is ideal - less than fifteen minutes from either Jackson or the Moose Visitor Center. The cabin is very attractive and comfortable, although the "cozy" bathroom is an understatement. There's a good view of the Tetons from the yard, and a great view of a moose family in the yard from the front step! Best of all, however, was breakfast. Don't plan on getting an early start to your day's activities. Franz's elegant hot recipes, accompanied by lively conversation, personalized hiking recommendations, and Carol's warm descriptions of Wyoming life, kept us at the breakfast table well into the morning. They are wonderful hosts at this special Jackson Hole B&B.

I highly recommend Teton View for your Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole area stay. Our cabin had everything we needed for our six night stay. Anyone over six feet tall should be aware that there are low sloping ceilings in part of the cabin. The breakfasts were outstanding as were the hosts, Carol and Franz. Note that this a good location for the Tetons as it is right off the road that takes you directly into the park and it is just ten minutes from the town of Jackson. It is, however, an hour and a half from the south entrance of Yellowstone and a 30 minute drive from the Jackson Hole airport. You really do have a view of the Tetons and moose come right into the backyard. It's a great place to stay!

Our family stayed at Teton View Bed & Breakfast for four nights in June. The visit was spectacular! The hospitality of Carol and Franz was unsurpassed. The accommodations were first rate and the food was delicious and fresh and very much the best of "home cooking." You are not likely to find a bed and breakfast with such an extraordinary breakfast offering and hospitality. Carol and Franz could not have been friendlier, and our whole family felt very comfortable in their house. The location is perfect for day trips into the Tetons or Jackson or environs. Carol and Franz have obviously spent a lot of time figuring out how to be excellent and welcoming hosts, while at the same time affording our family as much privacy as we wanted. All four members of our family will happily return there for future Jackson trips. It was not a surprise to meet people at breakfast who returned to Teton View many, many times, expecting to sleep in their "own" room. I could not recommend Teton View more highly.
