“I Come Back Year After Year”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2014

Having visited the Tetons more than 20 times, I have stayed in a number of the hotels and inns, but once I found Wildflower Inn, I never wanted to go anywhere else. Sherrie and Ken make you so welcome, and are knowledgeable about every facet of their area, from where to eat to where to hike to where to hear music. The chef, Kristen, makes phenomenal breakfasts that prepare you for the trail or for marathon shopping in Jackson, if that's your thing. The log house, built by Ken and Sherrie, is beautiful and each room is comfortable, pretty and welcoming. The inn is located on a back road directly into Grand Teton National Park but also near the town of Jackson; it's also close to Teton Village ski area. recommend going in fall; prices and tourists are down, weather is good, the mountains are lovely, and moose wander through the Inn's yard while you're eating breakfast!

We just returned from Wildflower Inn in Wilson, Wyoming and loved it. Sherry was so terrific. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and Sherry helped us plan our short stay and helped our friends and our children surprise us with champagne and dinner at The Snake River Grill.
The breakfasts are wonderful, especially the French Toast. The morning we left (5 a.m.) Sherrie packed me a wonderful breakfast to eat in the airport. What a wonderful, dear person she is.
We saw moose every day in the yard. That was a thrill. It was/is an ideal spot and close to the most beautiful scenery in America.
One small complaint...it may be time for a softer bed as ours was very hard.
Thank Sherrie and Ken for making our 50th so memorable.

Room Tip: We liked the rooms in the house.

What can we add except to say - ideal location, wonderful absolutely spotless home, superb rooms, excellent breakfasts and charming hosts who make your stay special.

Loved the breakfast conversations with the other guests who were happy to share their experiences and advice whilst enjoying a feast prepared by Sherrie and her excellent staff.

Our entire trip was based around the availability of the Wildflower Inn which I had discoveerd many months before the trip was booked. Another first from Trip Advisor and its reviewers. thanks to you all.

Room Tip: we stayed in Lupine - we arrived late and in the dark and it was a treat to open the door of this ro...

We have stayed in many wonderful B&B's all over the country, and this was the best of all! The location was great--out of the bustle of Jackson, but a short drive to town and to many sites of interest, with a stream running through the property, a profusion of wildflowers, and breathtaking views of the mountains. The house, built by Sherrie and Ken themselves as their home and inn, is spectacular--constructed of logs, with an incredible fireplace made of a variety of large stones they gathered themselves. The 5 well-appointed guest rooms vary by size and cost, but all the ones we saw were lovely---we really enjoyed our Indian Paintbrush Room, with its deck overlooking the beautiful, huge backyard (complete, this week, with a visiting moose and her 3 month old baby--what a treat!). Sherrie, who manages the day-to-day business of the inn, does so with charm, patience, and great thoughtfulness. From the information given before arrival, to the incredible breakfasts, to the perfect suggestions for hiking, other activities, and restaurants, to the variety of bikes available for use (and the wonderful bike path right outside the door!)--nothing escapes her knowledge and willingness to share. The other visitors we met, of all ages and from different parts of the country, greatly enhanced our experience, with stimulating conversations at breakfast. All in all, our experience in Jackson Hole and the Wildflower Inn was perfect and will be remembered forever.

Room Tip: All the rooms are quiet and lovely.

We stayed here August/Sept, and is without doubt one of our top rated B&B's. We felt that we arrived as strangers and left as friends. Our room was immaculate, the breakfasts to die for - each day something different, beautifully prepared and presented, no lunch was required. "Afternoon Tea" is a must. If travelling to Jackson, then this place is a must. Our rating would definitely be 10. Thank you Sherrie, Ken and your team for a stay in a million. Can't wait to return.

We spent 4 nights here at the end of August and beginning of September. In the past 20 years or so my wife and I have been to over 50 B & B's throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. The Wildflower Inn is one of the 3 or 4 establishments we've stayed in that deserve more than 5 stars. Exceptional hosts, breakfasts, impeccably clean rooms, beautiful grounds, great location. Thanks Sherri & Ken for a great place to stay!

Sherrie and Ken own and live in a lovely custom built B and B, located conveniently between the town of Jackson and Teton Village. It's a 10 minute drive to Jackson, and a reasonable drive to Grand Teton National Park, if the Moose Wilson road is fully open. (Road closed due to grading, and then due to a grizzly, while we were there. The first made sense, the second seemed ridiculous to us.) The accommodations are great, the homemade breakfasts are wonderful, and the hospitality is exceptional. Sherrie made spot-on fishing guide and Eco Tour recommendations, and we enjoyed both outings immensely. They are longtime residents of the area, and can easily recommend hikes, and other activities. Even the other guests were nice during our stay. It's a small B and B and we hope to stay there again, so I'm hoping that whoever reads this doesn't visit in September. Please try June, July, or August; during the great music festival, or October; when the leaves have all turned colors... ;-)
