“Authentic western log cabin luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We loved this beautiful B&B. A true luxury log cabin with beautiful great room and immaculate private room with fantasic bedding and view of Cottonwood forest. Breakfast was a wonderful mix of homemade treats. We used the in house mountain bikes (and helmets) to bike the very pleasant bike path up to Teton Village for lunch and views of Tetons beyond. A short car ride had us in Jackson old town and up into Grand Teton National Park. A short walk took us to the shores of the Snake River for a picnic and some fishing. In short, the Inn is perfectly located to access so much of what this area has to offer. And at the end of the day you had a quiet, homey, beautiful place to rest, relax and visit.

If you are looking for welcoming, friendly, and relaxing accommodations, this is the perfect place. The grounds of the Inn are beautifully landscaped with flowers, while the inside is tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, the room was clean, and the breakfast is amazing. This is a 5 star accommodation without a doubt. The Inn is conveniently located near Teton Village and Jackson Hole and is a short walk to the Snake River. Could not have stayed at a better place.

We had a great stay at the Bentwood. Debra & Lee were charming hosts & very accommodating. The B&B has a good layout & all the amenities you might need. I grew to really appreciate the location, which made the beautiful Tetons scenary more enjoyable. We had a moose in the backyard on the first morning. An awesome bike lane passes right by the property. I recommend the 6 mile trip to Teton Village using the free mountain bikes. The Aspens shopping center is only 1 mile away. The Jackson tourist scene is ~15 mins by car.

Deborah and Lee Clukey, innkeepers at the Bentwood, made this wonderful B&B extra special. We stayed two nights and the breakfast each day was very different in every way except in being excellent both days. We had a bonus treat in having another professional musician couple arrive for the second night who played and sang in front of the wood burning massive rock fireplace for a couple hours while we siped wine and ate the chocolate chip cookies made by Deborah.

We can only echo the raves of the other guests - we stayed at the Bentwood for 6 days in May, and even though it was a short trip, it was one of the most special vacations ever, in every way. Yes, the inn is every bit as beautiful as the photos, yes, the food is absolutely delicious, yes, Debra and Lee are wonderful hosts and innkeepers, and yes, like everyone told us before we went, "You will LOVE it!" A highlight of our stay was Bistro Night, a gourmet dinner at the inn. It was, without a doubt, the best dinner of our trip! We ate at several nice places in town, but this was by far the best. Sharing diner and a lovely spring evening on the patio with the other guests was very special, and we all had a great time. The only warning we can give is don't start eating Debra's chocolate chip cookies, or you'll be sorry. Once you start, you become immediately addicted to them, and then you'll find yourself eating them after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, and again before bed. The town of Jackson Hole is charming - don't miss the Jackson Hole Historical Society Museum - it's well worth your time, especially if you like history. Of course the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone are "must see", and if you're up for a thrill get up early in the morning and drive into the national park. We did, and it was the highlight of our trip - we saw elk, moose, cranes, and came within 100 feet of two moose in a shallow part of the river, just grazing. With the morninig sun coming up it was a magical moment, and one of many on this trip. Thank you again, Debra and Lee, for everything!

Room Tip: Each room is as lovely as the next - you can't go wrong. All have views of the property and priv...

We stayed at the Bentwood Inn for two days and I have to admit it was probably the best two days of our trip to Wyoming. Debra was so kind and helpful during our stay. She greeted as we were walking up to the front door to check-in -- we loved her! We stayed in the Cabin room and this was such a nice room. Gas fireplace, great bathroom, small balcony, wonderfully decorated and nice bed. Each morning Debra had a wonderful meal waiting on us as well as great coffee. I always had to go back for seconds -- it was so good. This place is beautiful and you have stay here if you are visiting Jackson.

She helped us with navigating the area and recommended we eat the Blue Lion. She even made reservations for us. If you go to the Blue Lion, you have to get the Rack of Lamb -- you will thank me later.

We recently traveled to Jackson Hole, WY for some winter fun. Our entire trip was fabulous and the Bentwood Inn was the center of the trip. We stayed at the Bentwood for 5 days. Our accommodations were great, the room clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the linens felt like being at home. The rooms were quiet. The great room always had a firing going which made the entire Inn smell fantastic. The only time the Inn didnt smell like an amazing fireplace is when it smelled of baking apples from the lovely breakfast spread prepared daily. Everyday we were greeted with a different gourmet breakfast that took into account special diet need of all the guests. Lee and Debrah were very knowledgeable of the area and activities. We felt that the location was perfect, right in the middle of Teton Village and Jackson Hole and walking distance to the bus stop.

The appetizer hour was perfect for mingling with the other guests and unwinding after a long day or sightseeing, dog sledding or skiing. We bought our own wine which was fantastic because we could share with the other guests. This happy hour was a perfect reason to return to visit with our new "friends" and catch up on what everyone did for the day. It was a perfect balance.

I cannot wait to return to the Bentwood. I know I will go every year.
