“Not as advertised - Don't understand the other delusional reviews”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2011 via mobile

This place is bare bones, old, and run down. We arrived late one night having booked the room 6 months prior because the rooms were advertised as quite nice and having the option of two queen beds for my family. They did not. The reception service struggled with English making checking in a painful process and even more painful when we saw the rooms which were not what we reserved and paid for. They were old, smelled terrible and had a slight bug problem. Not as advertised.

We stayed at the Wyoming Motel in July of 2011. The owner was so nice and accomodating!!! The motel is clean and comfortable. If you are looking for fancy.....this is probably not the place for you. However, we wanted a safe, comfortable place to stay. Didn't need over the top prices or accomodations. We had 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, television..........everything we needed!! All for $42.00!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!

Heading south towards Denver after a long day of driving, we needed a place that would leave us a short drive to Denver in the morniing. Everything in Cheyenne looked expensive, so we located Wheatland on the map and took a look. The Wyoming Motel is located off the beaten track a bit, away from all the other commercial places. It is well worth finding it to stay here. The rooms are huge, and we had a king that was extremely comfortable. After a long day of driving preceeded by a several days of serious hiking, having a bath tub to soak in was another huge plus. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. The motel is very clean and quiet. We slept great. We stayed here for 45 + tax. Incredible bargain. The residents of the town of Wheatland were also nice - we stocked up on food at the supermarket and met a few locals and had breakfast in town as well. If you need a place to stay near here, this is a great place.

We located this quaint hotel while surfing the net for a room near the mid point of our trip from Geary, OK to Spokane, WA. As usual during summer - most had no vacancies and those who did began at $75. We usually search for a place just to sleep and rarely stay more than 6 hours in the room before moving on. As I surfed the highway south from Casper - I found the Wyoming Hotel in Wheatland. The reviews were great so we called and booked our room for less than $50. The room was very clean and had a microwave and fridge. It was very quiet, a rare experience for us because we usually stay in hotels on the interstate. We had planned our return trip for a diffferent route but decided to return to this hotel on the way home. A good decision. The owner, Ann, was very nice and made our stay enjoyable. We visit Washington every year and are so please to have found this "gem" along the way. We will stay at this hotel during each future trip and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a quiet rest in a clean and comfortable room.

We were directed here by the local Best Western (which was fully booked at the time). It was the kind of place I would have passed right by. Just as has been said before, the place was immaculately clean. The owners are so nice. There is internet available at the main desk.

I was driving around Wyoming, just having fun seeing sites. It got to be nighttime and I happened to be in Wheatland, Wy. I didnt want to stay at the cookie cutter motels off the interstate, so I cruised around town and stumbled into the Wyoming Motel. Of course I was nervous, because you never know what your going to get with a mom and pop operation. I was greeted warmly by a friendly couple. I was given a nice room, and fresh towels. The place was spotless, did not smell at all. It was pure Wyoming, class, down-home, and old-fashioned in a good way. If I find myself in this area again, I will make it a point to stay here. They also gave me a coupon for a nearby restaurant, so in the morning I ate an excellent breakfast, at a great price.
