One of my favorite hotels in the world. This is a fantastic location and elegant room. Loved the bed most of all and the bathroom!! Large room with fireplace and comfortable seating. Wish the rates were lower, I would go more often!!

We booked under the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program. As part of the program, we were to get a room upgrade upon check in with space availability. Prior to booking, we called the resort directly regarding the room upgrade and were told which room we needed to book in order to be complementarily upgraded to the one we desired if it were available. So we proceeded to book the room. On check in, we asked the front desk clerk about our upgrade that was noted on the reservation, and she told us no they don't do that and we had already booked one of the highest rooms as she was not willing to upgrade us to the suite. A bit frustrating since the hotel was extremely vacant that week and the upgrade could have been accomplished!
Nightly turn down service only occurred on the first night we were there. One other night we called the front to ask for a pitcher of water that the turn down service brings and it took over a half hour to receive it. Turn down service did offer to come that night since it hadn't been the two previous nights, but by the time they were wanting to come in, it was nearly 10:00pm- much too late for turn down service.
Every day from the hours of 4:00am-6:00am there was so much noise outside on the slopes. Perhaps it was the regrooming of the trails as the constant beeping of the trucks kept us awake. It sounds like a lot of construction was occurring outside. I understood then why turn down service on the first day had brought the ear plugs, but then didn't understand why they took them away on the second day and never brought them back again.
Another absurdity is how can you pay in excess of $300 for a room on special and the hotel not offer complementary wifi in the rooms. The $15 per day charge was quite exorbitant.
On a positive note, the door greeters are quite friendly. Also the complementary Smores and hot chocolate poolside in the winter was a nice touch.
We travel frequently and stayed at a range of hotels. To pride themselves as being listed as a Fine Hotel and Resort, they are not living up to the minimal standard and don't think I'd return.

And you know, I expected great at my first Four Season stay. Upon arrival at a sparsely populated hotel in its off season, I was informed that I would have to park in the ski lot down the hill or pay valet prices to park on property. Yes, it was a birthday of mine and I thought that wow, they really picked-up on this nice, small touch; a birthday muffin was on the counter. - nope. Looking closer, the card was addressed to some prior guest - who knows how long it had been there. Finally, the poor quality bath products completely dried-out my skin. I've had better products at Best Western. The bed was not bad but not outstanding either. Plus: nice size room; beautiful fireplace; clean - except for that muffin; staff friendly; location good for the ski hill/poor for downtown Jackson ten miles away. Overall, nice, but no fingerprint here as to the personal touch reputation.

We stayed for 2 nights, after being in Yellowstone for 4 nights. I can't say enough good things about it. Even though the hotel is 6 years old, it looks brand new. Furnishings both in the rooms and in the public areas are elegant, yet reflective of the Western setting. Service is top-notch, and the pool area is lovely. We had read guidebooks who stated that the FS pool was inferior to the one at Snake River Lodge ... I would have to disagree after seeing both. We had dinner in the Westbank Grill, and though it was expensive, it was well worth the cost. I had an amazing 4 course dinner with wine pairings for $44. A great value when my husband paid $36 for the steak dinner (but it was an awesome steak!). If you are a skier, it is absolutely ski in - ski out.
I found nothing to dislike, and would highly recommend this hotel.

We had pretty high expectations for our stay at the Four Seasons and I have to say, it exceeded our expectations! Wow, was it amazing. Although we have only stayed at one other Four Seasons resort, we have stayed at many other 4-5 star resorts around the world and this facility is definitely at the top. The service was wonderful, the room was luxurious, the pool/spa area was amazing. I really can't even come up with one complaint. We usually don't eat in hotel restaurants but even the restaurant for lunch, although empty, was delicious. We thought the value was great probably b/c we paid the stay 2 nights for price of one night special. Our wknd away from our toddler was relaxing and I felt totally pampered every minute of the stay from warm robe brought to me at the pool, the free room upgrade, right up to the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries sent to our room for our anniversary. Just amazing. Had some great meals in Jackson Hole- highly recommend Blu kitchen.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a huge suite. We had reserved a suite but not this one. It felt like home with a huge living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath plus a powder room. It also had a terrace with a view of the mountains right outside. We were on the back of the hotel. The service was impeccable at all times. The food was delicious in all the restaurants and room service. There were also two fireplaces (gas) that made a wonderful atmosphere. The pool and spa were beautiful. We noticed lots of families and there is a kiddie area also. It must be truly beautiful in the snow.
