“Beautiful Hotel with Ski in and out right out the back door!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2011

This Hotel is very warm friendly atmosphere! We do not have any children but it is geared with children in mind. They have a beautiful room with fireplace, television and tables with board games. . The spa and gym area is great. The gym has plenty of cardio equipment and weights. The spa was wonderful as I had a deep tissue massage and facial, and my husband had a facial and manicure. We were very happy with our services and everyone at the spa was very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoyed their inside hot tub and steam room almost everyday of our week long stay. We ate at the Restaurant for breakfast daily and had dinner twice. My husband loved the Belgian Waffle each morning. Our dinners were suburb and the steaks outstanding, and the wait staff most helpful and knowable on the menu. Our room was our favorite part, we spent a lot of time relaxing and reading, the view was breathtaking. I will say Four Seasons has the best pillows and mattresses.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to experience all of our outlets. We have to agree with you that the belguim waffles are delicious. Hopefully you were able to enjoy our new virtual gym equipment as well.

We look forward to welcoming you back!

The Four Seasons chain is always a super experience and this property is no exception. The location is superb. We had a standard category room and it still featured a balcony, fireplace, huge bathroom, sitting area, decent closet and luxurious furnishings! After driving though Yellowstone, it was such a treat to enjoy massages in the spa.

Every thought is practically a command with the staff. For instance, as I was buying a swimsuit as I hadn't packed one, I casually mentioned to my boyfriend that it would be nice to have a glass of wine by the hottub under the stars. The staff immediately made it happen and timed it for after the massages. In fact, they retrieved our own wine which was in the car, which was in the valet parking lot.

Of course, everything comes with a price at Four Seasons, but the experience is so worth it when you want to splurge or if you just plain deserve it!

I have stayed at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole twice. Once for business and once for pleasure. Both occasions happened to be during the shoulder season. Before I offer several suggestions for areas in which the hotel can improve, I have to say that the hotel is totally consistent with the level of service and overall quality I have experienced during many other stays at Four Seasons hotels. The hotel is excellent overall, and these are relatively minor issues that I'd like to point out to both management and prospective guests who may share my personal standard of service. Amangani is the best in Jackson without question, but the Four Seasons is more affordable and still excellent second choice in my book.

On my most recent stay, my wife and I stayed for three nights. We received a promotional rate, but upon making the reservation, we were assured that we would be placed on a high floor with maximal views of the mountains because the hotel was going to be relatively empty. We were placed on the seventh floor, which is really just a few floors above the pool area, but several floors below the top floor. The hotel is very nice, and the original art is curated like a gallery. However, the rooms could use updating. The hotel is no longer consistent in quality with the most recent Four Seasons projects that have been developed. Just like the Philadelphia Four Seasons shows its age, the Jackson Hole property is beginning to look like a last-generation hotel.

The first night, after we arrived quite late, we decided to go to the lounge and have a drink before bed. The service was excellent, but the fire in the fireplace was dead and no one offered to come by and stoke it while we enjoyed our drink. Further, there was some really obnoxious music playing in the lounge - sort of soft rock or "lite" pop music cranked up just a little too loud. It made us want to leave. It played in the lounge every night we were there, as well as in the afternoon. I suspect that the hotel plays an audio track that is more suited toward a crowded lounge during ski season, but with an empty hotel, the music was a little loud and not quite right.

The last item that we experienced was that there was only one outdoor hot tub obviously working when we stayed. Another was being cleaned, and we were unable to find the controls for the third - which may or may not have been a hot tub. This would have been fine, except for the fact that a grandfather and his four grandchildren plunged in within ten minutes of our using the facility. This probably happens all the time during the busy seasons, but one of the reasons we like to go to Jackson during this time of year is to avoid crowds.

A minor item that can be improved upon is the fact that the free coffee station in the morning has really small cups available for coffee - maybe 8-10 oz? Smaller than a "tall" at Starbucks. I had to stack two of them just for myself. And there were no carriers.

To reiterate, however, our stay was great and we enjoyed the hotel.

Room Tip: There really are not mountain views from this hotel. It's a ski lodge, and so the views are mos...

Stayed here twice and it is great; like most Four Seasons, service is terrific and 'friendly professional', and on the pricey side, but well worth it. Rooms are oversized and thoughtfully set up; restaurant and lounge top flight;

This resort is billed as a 5-star and earns the badge. We made a wise decision to come in October when the crowds were gone. From the valet at the entrance to the housekeeping staff, Four Seasons offers exceptional service. The concierge provided great maps and directions to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We enjoyed two delicious meals in the informal bar area (highly recommend the sushi & sake) and the more formal restaurant. The fitness area is well equipped and maintained and the spa is luxurious. Best of all, our room had a lovely rustic aesthetic. Finally a bathroom with proper storage area, a warm fireplace, comfortable bed, good lighting, a desk, a comfy bed. It doesn't get much better than this!

Our company had a retreat here the last week of October (2011) just before a two week shut down of the hotel to prep for sky season.there 40 of us were probably the only guests and service was uniformly excellent. The decor is wood and stone in a modern ski-lodge motif. The rooms were good sized and well appointed with the amenities one expects at Four Seasons' properties. The scenery and animal encounter opportunities were also a pleasant diversion from the business retreat. On property meals were uniformly excellent. The meeting rooms were fine, if a bit chilly at times. The only downside of the entire visit (4 days) involved some of our group who had rooms near the ski lifts, as snow making equipment was tested in the wee hours of 2 mornings.

I higly recommend this facility in the off season!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the ski-lift and snow-making side of the property.

This hotel is truly ski-in / ski-out. The ski concierge kept our boots heated overnight. The hotel itself offered very high-end demo skis.

Every where we looked there was hot chocolate or cider. We walked out to the hot tub where we were greeted by staff members who put our robes in a heated closet and who then offered us complimentary s'mores.

We were upgraded to a large suite with a fantastic living room, plus two bathrooms. We definitely enjoyed the fireplace after a day of skiing.

We also booked a snowmobiling adventure through the concierge, which was so well coordinated. The shuttle into town was constantly running.

The biggest compliment I can pay this hotel is that we booked our return trip the day we got home.
