“Nice place to stay and ski”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

We recently stayed a week at Snake River Lodge and had a good stay. The indoor/outdoor pool was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating . The main issues we had were that our room was on the back corner with two roads very near the building. The traffic noise and snow plows were loud early in the morning. The other issue is you receive valet parking with your stay, problem is there is only one person working the Bell desk and we had to wait on the car for awhile every time we wanted to go to town. It wasn't the attendants fault, he literally ran to get cars but it was inconvenient . The lobby is beautiful with the bear carvings and the concierge was very helpful. The ski valet is nice although you have to go up quite a few stairs to get from the lodge to the ski lifts. We ate at the hotel bar at lunch and had room service one night, it was quick and very good. We've stayed at this property and Teton Lodge and honestly there's not a lot of difference. Hard to go wrong in Teton Village

The room was pathetic, and faced a garbage dump. The staff are by and large a bunch of high school grads with no apparent training. One on the bartenders (guy with beard) was outright arrogant and made us all feel uncomfortable. The best part of the hotel was the ski valet--the guys were awesome and helpful. I would not stay here again.

This is an excellent property and a tremendous value, given its neighbors like the Four Seasons. Can't imagine why anyone would spend more! Location in Teton Village at the base of the mountain is perfect, especially with the convenient ski valet service. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous, even willing to share some of their "secret stashes" for good skiing. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, pool is great and the bar is very convenient.

Great room for the price. Excellent location right at the base of the mountain, The place is a little tired but still a good deal for what you are paying. The room was small but the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was fully updated. This is no five star hotel but a decent deal for what we paid. Clean and really good location. $229 a night for a top notch ski resort-ski in/ski out-hard to beat that.

Room Tip: ours had a view of a wall...ask to NOT be viewing a wall!

easy access to tetons, great happy hour atop the gondola and waffles at the top of the world
we got an upgrade and the kids had as much fun in the jacuzzi tub as they did the pool- which was fabulous with a geiser and waterfall

Stayed with a number of friends at the Snake River Lodge and enjoyed it immensely. The rooms and bathrooms were clean; the breakfast buffet was perfect for a quick bite. Liked the bar and thought the food was fine overall. After skiing, it’s a big advantage to ski-in to the Lodge, hand the ski valet your equipment and head for the spa. Location, location, location. F.Y.I, the boys at the ski valet knew the terrain, the Village & the town very well. They were a BIG Help as was the concierge. In fact the entire staff was always helpful and made every effort to go above a beyond. Yes, as mentioned in other reviews, the WIFI is tricky until you figure it out, and I learned after the 1st night to open room window in order to keep the room at a comfortable sleeping temperature. Great experience overall, fine staff, many nice touches and amazing skiing just out the back door.
