“Awesome fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

Great mountain, world class skiing. The terrain is challenging and there are some great runs. Facilities such as the lifts are great. I wouldn't recommend though for people looking for a great Village. If you are just out for skiing, it is hard to beat.

“Great Waffles at the Top”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2014

Great skiing at a reasonable price (relatively). It is a very challenging mountain with
good conditions.

“Come to ski”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

This is a mountain's mountain: steeps, double blues, single blues and greens. Granted, not a lot of greens, but more than enough wide terrain for beginners (kids and adults alike) to have a ball learning how to maneuver in snow which sticks on their feet. Good instructors, but private lessons are not inexpensive. A class is affordable and more fun for kids...and adults.

Other than one restaurant at the top of the gondola, the food throughout the mountain is cafeteria-ish, but very satisfying for every taste. Nobody leaves wanting more. And who goes to a mountain for the food anyway? From the Four Seasons to the Mangy Moose, there are delicious restaurant options for lunch and dinner without leaving the resort.

The town of Jackson is fifteen-twenty minutes away and should be on the agenda. Sandwiches at the large supermarket; BBQ joints; pizza joints; seafood; sushi; Mexican; prime-cut aged steaks, the ambience and choices for outstanding food in town will dazzle any foodie. The cute shops, art galleries and wildlife tours are not to be missed.

Whatever your ability level, The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will offer more than enough options for many days of unforgettable skiing. And the next mountain you visit, you'll be a better skier.

Just wish I was going with you.

“Crowded for skiers, NOT for non-skiers”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

For skiers, the lines were very, very long in early March. At 9a on a Monday the place was PACKED. EVERYTHING about this place is for skiers. If there are non-skiers traveling with you... well I just hope they like limited over priced shopping or over priced spa treatments. It would be really nice if they added at least a small snow-tubing area, which could easily and cheaply be done (Snow King has one). The hotels are very nice and there are several restaurant choices. This place is at least 10 miles outside of town, but a bus does run regularly between town and the Village.

“Four Days 99th Percentile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Love skiing here. Have been here 6 times over 20 years and this time was the best. This is an outlier year for sensational snow at JH, over 300 inches as of this review, and we had snow 3 out of our 4 days. They wisely upgraded the Casper chair to detachable quad 2 years ago, which is a great mid-mountain improvement, to go along with the new tram and the gondola. The expert chairs on the upper mountain are better than anywhere else.
