Superb hotel. The hotel is immaculately kept. Everything looks brand new and sparkling clean. Rooms are huge suites with full kitchen - they even leave milk in the fridge. The lounge area is somewhere you really want to linger. There is a good pillow choice and really comfy beds. Also the sink is outside the bathroom - very useful. The hotel itself has a high ceilinged, light filled reception lounge and an eating room which is a pleasure to eat in. There is a good hot breakfast and a free Manager's dinner during the week which is exceptionally good and saves going out to eat (the choice of restaurants is very uninspiring anyway). One night there was really fresh salad bar, superb gumbo soup and lean bbq pulled pork - the latter was better than most restaurants. There was also rolls and crisps and fresh (frozen) vegetables. Juice, lemonade, coffee (24 hr), and cookies all free too. Brilliant. After we had eaten we no longer needed to go out so settled in our lovely room with some wine from the supermarket and watched TV. Bliss after a hard day. Lovely staff served the breakfast and dinner too - retirees most of the time which was nice - they liked to chat and it was interesting finding out there history in the area, In fact all the staff were good. We had a wonderful stay. Who would have thought it - almost the best hotel in our 3 week trip and located in a really basic, almost industrial town. Great experience.
