“Best B&B We Have Ever Stayed In”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2010

I can only reiterate all everyone else has said- I would certainly rate this as five-star. Julie is delightful, we were made to feel totally at home, the bedroom, bathroom and lounge are superbly furnished. Unfortunately, we were the last but one guests ever as Julie has had to take the decision to close her B&B. It is a total shame that, in the future, people will not be able to enjoy her hospitality. it is a wonderful B&B.

This was the 4th accommodation on our recent US vacation. If you want to follow the route, the 3rd one was Hampton Inn Montrose, Montrose, Colorado. The 5th one was the Grand Victorian Lodge, Jackson, Wyoming.

From a tourist’s point of view, Rock Springs doesn’t offer that much and we were a bit skeptical about our accommodation as we drove towards it through more or less non attractive areas. Our mood got better and better when we entered a nice residential area and finally spotted the nice and cozy Miners Repose Bed & Breakfast. There are different types of bed & breakfasts from small and exclusive boutique hotels to more intimate places where you get the impression to belong to the family. This b&b was such a family place. We really felt like family that came back for a visit and got to stay in the room upstairs as always. It was like coming home and being welcome and we liked everything immediately including the general introduction, the afternoon cookies, the restaurant hints etc. The innkeeper Julie is the nicest person you could ever meet and serves you a good homemade breakfast in the morning including a nice chat at the breakfast table. Can definitely recommend this place.

my husband and I had a wonderful, albeit sadly too short, stay at this bed and breakfast, the hostess is lovely and is an excellent cook, the accommodation is pristine clean, and guests have access to the host's garden including hot tub - the garden is pretty and immaculate, the bedroom is beautifully furnished with an excellent comfy bed with high quality linens - Rock Springs has an interesting downtown historic area including a museum reflective of its mining culture and is well located for onward journeys in Wyoming.

A+ for this great b&b! Wonderfully sweet and interesting hosts. Amazing gourmet breakfast. Tastefully decorated and super comfy room. Plus the hosts have thought of all kinds of creature comforts like luxurious robes, a little hottub, and snacks available any time. There doesn't seem to be much to do in Rock Spring but Miners Repose is the only place to stop over between Yellowstone/Grand Tetons and Denver.

Warm and welcoming home and hosts. The decor is charming, the environment is spotless and a cozy bedroom designed for a delightful nights' rest await the weary traveler. Check out the local downtown (within walking distance thru a charming neighborhood) and soak up some local flavor. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My bed was so comfortable with the best of linens and there was a hot tub in a private back patio area just meant to soak away the road. Can't wait to visit again! Highly recommend!

I have had the opportunity to stay here for several weeks while in the area on business.
This is what anyone should be seeking in a bed and breakfast, a home away from home. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. They are clean, quiet, and have their own private bathrooms. This is an exceptional choice above any Motel.
Each morning the breakfast was fantastic and came with friendly, warm conversation. If you are a professional that travels and you generally stay in a motel in the area, try a night here, you will be grateful that you did. The atmosphere and ameneties cater to the needs of a professional.

A little piece of heaven amongst the vast mining industry of Rock Springs. Clean, comfortable and with great hosts is what you need after a long days drive. Made to feel very much at home with more or less the run of the place. Breakfast was a little confused but delicious, and it all came together in the end. The only draw back is the use of shared bathroom facilities which is not made very clear in the literature.
