“Enjoyable Stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Stopped over on our way from Oregon to Colorado and I'm glad we did. It was your typical motel however after a long day of driving the complimentary social hour and the morning breakfast were very nice. It was certainly worthwhile for us!

Thank you so much for your review. I am glad you were able to enjoy those two free amenities that we offer at the Quality Inn. I'm glad you had a safe trip! Hope to see you again next time you are in the area.

Ok people give this place a break....based on reviews would not have been my first choice but price, availability and complimentary breakfast as well as drinks and snacks we choose to stay here. It was clean, comfortable and you can park right outside door.

Thank you very much for your review. We try very hard to keep the rooms clean and comfortable for our guests. Thank you for noticing! We have a lot of guests that enjoy the convenience of the drive up rooms. Of course complimentary cocktails and popcorn at night and breakfast in the morning is a very popular amenity to our guests. We enjoy being able to have a place where people can relax and socialize with each other.

Sincerely,
Trish Green, GM

First time at a Quality Inn and very impressed. Check in was very smooth and quick and staff were great, very friendly and informative. Room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable, best nights sleep I've had in a while. Complimentary happy hour is an excellent idea. A nice time to interact with staff and other guests and share experiences. Thoroughly enjoyable plus you get a free drink. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Overall a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

We always stop here on the way home from the Coast for several reasons as follows: Our room is always ready and check in takes about 2 minutes with reservations. Our room has always been clean and everything in working order. I admit this is an older place and shows a little wear here and there but the beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. You can park in front of your room. The place is pet friendly. You can enjoy the free cocktail hour if you are so inclined. (How many hotels offer this?) If you like good Chinese food the Wonderful House next door will deliver to your room. The hot breakfast is as good as any other Quality Inn. As for the oilfield workers , they have never caused us any problem other than leaving for work early in the morning. As for the women walking the streets, I have never seen a one. The front desk folks are always friendly and we have never had a complaint during our 20 plus stays here.

Thank you very much for your review. I am very happy to see that you have stayed with us many times and have always been happy with your stay. We try to make check in as efficient as possible as we know after a long day driving, you want to relax as soon as possible. We are happy to accomodate your pet as well. Most of us at the hotel are pet owners and we know how much they are a part of the family. Happy hour is very popular with many of our guests and it is as social as a person wants it to be. I agree with you about the Wonderful House, one of my favorite places in town as well. Looking forward to seeing you on your next visit!

Our room was nice, clean and quite sufficient. The only drawback was the air conditioner did not cool the room too good but since the temps outside were not that high that day it did keep us comfortable. The bed was good and we slept well. The breakfast the next morning was good with various choices to choose from including waffles. The worst thing was the town of Rock Springs was very concentrated around the interstate and during their rush hour it was a bit difficult getting around and not turned around but that was not the motels fault. Just thought I'd mention it, but we did get around ok and they do have some nice shopping there close to the motel.
I would stay here again without any reservations.

Thank you very much for your review. I am glad your stay was enjoyable. Sorry that the air conditioner was not performing as well as it should have. I was very pleased to hear that the room was clean and I will share that with our room attendants. They take pride in their work and are always happy to hear positive feedback from our valued guests. I hope to see you again if you are ever in the area!

As Choice Hotels member we try to stay with that hotel group. Sometimes a great experience sometimes not. This time on our trip from CO. to Portland was a positive experience. We arrived in time for "happy hour" which included warm cookies, cold beer, wine and even mixed drinks. Jim the host a retired mine worker from the area ( lots of mines around there) was very interesting, and friendly. Breakfast was nice as was the breakfast area. Staff gave us good tips on where to eat dinner which was Chinese food across the street, also very good. Overall a wonderful stay. PS our dogs enjoyed it also
