“Buzzing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

We had a very enjoyable meal at Lovejoys. The place was buzzing, we enjoy mixing with the locals and they seem to enjoy talking to us Brits. Service and food were good and as usual, plentiful with ample and varied choice. Worth the visit.

“mainstream cuisine, great location, standoffish service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

A well-established Laramie restaurant which mimics the old Bennigans chain pretty closely in atmosphere and cuisine, Lovejoy's has an ideal location downtown with plenty of booths overlooking the bustling railroad yard. Curiously, I've found that the service is much friendlier and more accommodating if you come with a group than if you dine alone. The larger the group, the more warmly you will be welcomed. If you come alone, you'll get the minimum in standoffish courtesy, but nothing in the way of warmth that would encourage you to come again without your entourage. Most menu items are fried foods, but there are some salads to choose from if you're trying to eat healthy.

“Great food, cheap beer!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

We were passing through Laramie and picked this restaurant out of the phone book. It ended up being a great choice! The food was excellent, the beer was cheaper than several of the other places we had been, and the atmosphere was very inviting. Check it out if you're in town!

“Unexepectedly good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Surprisingly good food for a pub type establishment. Only taking one star off because the waitress was new (and she told us before hand she was) and wasn't quite as attentive as she could of been and forgot a few things like dinner ware and my buddy's salad. We had a 10% off discount card from the hotel we were staying and there was no problem with that. I had the Buffalo Burger and liked that the condiments were on the side of the plate and you could put want you wanted on it leave off what you didn't want.

“not disappointed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We were here for an early dinner and overall enjoyed it. Nachos were very good, burger was very good, kids meals were a little lacking, but very good price. It seemed to take awhile to get our food, but otherwise we were happy with the service. The meal was pretty inexpensive, and there was the bonus of seeing a train go past which the kids loved.
