Visiting from Fort Collins, we were walking around old town in Laramie and walked by the Front Street Tavern. It was full of people and looked fun so we went in and got seats at the bar. We are beer lovers and were surprised by the number of high quality beers on draft including Wyoming microbrews. We got a couple appetizers and they were delicious and healthy, not your typical fried and greasy bar food. The apps are made at the adjacent Sweet Melissa Vegetarian Cafe (We plan to go eat there next---the aromas coming from there were tantalizing). The ambience of the tavern is nice. The building is apparently one of the oldest in old town. Very historical look and feel. The service was quick; our bartender was friendly and talkative and told us about some fun things to do around town and places to explore in the mountains.
