Gorgeous rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel provides a shuttle into Jackson town where there are many restaurants - great fun place. Wonderful stopover on the way to Yellowstone, highly recommended.

This was the perfect choice for skiing at Jackson Hole. Perfect location, amenities and great service. The airport, town and ski resort shuttle options were awesome with great service. The value was great, the complimentary breakfast was a full service breakfast with hot and cold options, and just what you need to start a full day of skiing. I highly recommend staying at the Lodge if you visit Jackson Hole.

As a previous reviewer had stated, this is not the Four Seasons, but I think it's a great spot for the price! We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were nice, clean and freshly appointed. Nice TV's, a fireplace in each of our rooms. Having the shuttle driver at our disposal was a LOVELY plus - - and they were all so helpful and friendly! WiFi was a bit slow (perhaps there were options to upgrade to a higher speed?) Front desk staff was hit or miss - - some were very helpful, but one girl did NOT seem pleased to be there, and was not at all helpful. An added plus was that the breakfasts here were much nicer than we received at our previous hotel - - the Concierge Lounge at the Park City Marriott!

This is a terrific hotel, and a great value. However, they have a really poor service culture. Check-in was truly painful. What the front desk clerk didn't know - she made up. And, when I asked for a room on the third floor versus the first floor you would have thought I had asked for the moon. Not once in four days did any employee of the hotel say hello, or offer any form of greeting. I was only person in the lobby on three separate mornings, and each time the front desk clerk totally ignored me. It almost felt like we were treading on their turf and they weren't happy we were there. Again, it's a great property. Loved the room, and lobby, pool, etc. were great. But, we had three rooms booked for four nights and really felt like we were not welcomed at the hotel.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked a parking lot with trash bins from the buildings around us. We had to listen to...

When reviewing it is sometimes difficult to assess a rating when you are comparing the price value relationship. This place is not the Four Seasons, but the value is excellent. The staff was uniformly wonderful, the breakfast buffet good and well run, if not really top top. The bed excellent, the bathroom good with big shower (but where are the hooks or rods for towels???no place to put them except the floor or over the wet shower walls..so we used many more towels than usual). The airport pickup and round the town courtesy car were very available. The ski valet was excellent. The in room fireplace was a little sad.

Very nice hotel with exceptional people. We were very pleased about our stay and the hotel's service. They represented well. We were most impressed with the attention to detail of the staff and facilities. We also appreciated the better breakfast than expected! We felt like everyone at the "Bear" Hotel was genuinely glad that we were there. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed 6 nites for spring skiing. 20 min drive from Teton ski park, short drive from downtown. No views, but priced accordingly. Good pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast included and is only passable and never changes. We ate out last morning. Couldn't bear the same again.

Room Tip: Take a higher floor. Either side.
