“Great hotel with decent breakfast included”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2013

This is a recently remodeled hotel which still looks "new". The rooms are very large with your choice of a king bed and nice sized couch or two queens. The breakfast (which is included in the room rate) is your standard buffet. Nothing wrong with the buffet, just nothing to write home about. The only down side is that it is not in the center of town near the shopping and nightlife. However they do have a shuttle which will run you downtown (only about five minutes away). There is a nice restaurant next door (Gun Barrel).

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Very comfortable bed. Nice amenities. Very clean. Staff friendly & helpful. For the included breakfast: real eggs, real bacon and sausage, unlike so many other places. Breakfast was on a buffet, but even after 8am, still hot and fresh. Breakfast area had adequate seating. Bar was nice with some light meals or appetizers to order which was nice to have if you didn't want a meal or like us, got to the hotel late from the airport. Pool area nice and did not smell like the "Y" unlike so many other indoor pool areas at other hotels. Would definitely stay there again. Although a short drive to town, this was far better than our last time in Jackson when we stayed in Teton Village.

The wife is always right. The wife is always right.

We stayed here for three nights in July. My wife decided that this would be the hotel we stay at because of the reviews and pictures on Tripadvisor. We made reservations months in advance. We reserved a room with a double queen. The Lodge did make it a little tough on us by charging us the full amount. Because July is high season in Jackson and the Grand Teton/Yellowstone National Park area, the rates at this and other hotels automatically will be over $300 a night.

We arrived on a Sunday evening. Check in was relatively quick. The reason my wife picked this hotel was because of the travertine bathroom, the Toto toilet , and the "Rain" shower that they displayed on their website. It was just like home minus the "Rain" shower. Did they give us a room with the "Rain" shower? Absolutely not. They gave us a room with a bath tub and no "Rain" shower. My wife was upset that our room did not have a "Rain" shower. While I was outside getting the luggage, she and the daughter went downstairs to speak to the ladies at the front counter. Being the nice husband that I am, I pretended to care. Unfortunately, they had given all their rooms with rain shower away. We were stuck in our nice room with bathtub and shower. The front desk did a wonderful job in handling the situation. They told us that they would have a room ready for us the next morning. They were right! By 9:30 the next morning, we had a room with the rain shower ready for us. I'm so glad that they took care of us. I would have been miserable during our three day stay if they had done nothing.

Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, only fresher. They freshly cooked their scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes every morning. They cut strawberry and blueberries every morning of our stay. They also had a nice variety of cereals, and yogurts. For those that didn't want to be seen by anyone in the morning (like my wife), they had trays so that someone nice could bring breakfast in the room for them.

Housekeeping staff was interesting. They didn't give us towels even though we requested new towels every day. They did clean everything, and make the the beds.

Good hotel, but, like everything in the vicinity of the national parks, it is just too expensive.

They are no longer affiliated with the Best Western. They dropped the BW after remodeling. My wife would never stay at a BW.

We stayed here on September 18th. The Lodge is gorgeous, clean, and hospitable, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable--King size bed--very comfortable, fireplace, Keurig coffee maker, and walk-in shower. The room was very quiet, and we had no problem getting parked close to our assigned entrance. Free Wi-Fi is a wonderful thing, but only if it works. Perhaps it was the location of our room, but the wi-fi was so slow, I finally gave up. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent with ample choices of meats, breads, eggs, fruit, cereal, and beverages. My only complaint (other that the poor wi-fi reception) was the price. I understand this is a tourist town, but I consider $330.00 per night for a standard room just ridiculous. Everything in Jackson Hole and surrounding areas is SO expensive, more than any other touristy area I have ever visited. I am glad I visited Jackson Hole, but will probably never go back.

Room Tip: This is a HUGE motel/lodge, so if you have any health issues, be sure to let the front desk know so...

Stayed at the lodge for 2 nights while in Jackson. A bit high in price, but everything is in Jackson. With that taken into consideration, a pretty decent value! Personally liked that it wasn't right in the downtown area. Tons of amenities for your stay! Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the décor. We actually ate at the restaurant on site as well. We both ordered the bison burger, which was very good. Nice outdoor hot tub area! Would recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay on your trip! Free breakfast and Starbucks coffee was a great bonus!

Stayed here for five nights during a trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Very nice property with a lot of amenities. Rooms have been remodeled so the bathroom has a big, walk-in shower and new marble counters. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Extra benefits are the free Wifi, refrigerator in the room (empty, not a mini-bar), and the free breakfast. All the staff were very nice and helpful with restaurant suggestions and activity recommendations. Free shuttle was nice as well.

Room Tip: Ice machine on my floor was near the elevator so try and get away from the elevator for more peace a...

We stayed here from Sept. 19-23. We had a king suite. It was beautifully decorated and very cozy and comfortable. The location was close to the downtown area, but not in it. It is about a two hour drive to Yellowstone, but minutes away from Grand Teton Park. Loved the Keurig in the room and all the places to hook up phones and computers! Very firm comfy bed. Bathroom was great with large travertine shower and upscale toiletries. Breakfast was pretty good. Our room was not tended to until rather late in the day, usually around 3:30. We woke up and left early each morning in order to avoid crowds and catch wildlife better. As a result we were worn out by mid afternoon and had to hang out elsewhere until our room was cleaned each day. This is my only complaint. Next time I'd find out which rooms got cleaned first and ask for one of them! We really loved our stay here and would definitely come back!
