“Unique”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

My family loves to stop and take a dip in the Hot Springs, however, most of the times we have visited should be called "lukewarm springs". Watch for heavy travel days, it is not as fun to swim when there are too many people in the pool.

“A good warm soak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

Our family enjoyed the hot springs. A beautiful drive and it's out of the way. Drive on a dirt road however any car could make it. The GPS guided us to an entirely different location, so don't follow it. From Jackson, go towards Pinedale for about 45 min or so. It's worth the drive.

“Scenic soaking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

The pool was pleasant and the scenery is beautiful here. Out of the way and rustic. The road has been re-done. Much nicer.

“Gotta take a dip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

We have been at the hot springs during winter and summer now. We went on the JH Ididarod dog sled ride to the pool a few years ago and it was worth every cent. Wonerful dog sled experience and swimming in the snow, it don't get much better. This August we drove back and took a dip. We were very pushed for time but just couldn't drive by without stopping. Takes about a 1/2 hr drive in and then 1/2 hr out, cost is $6. VERY NICE !

“Great Hot Springs in stunning setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

This is a 35-40 mi drive S of Jackson and a good 4-6 hour option to get away from the crowds and relax. You have to drive up 9-10 miles up a dirt road that passenger cars can get through. You do have about a 1/4 mi walk from the parking lot and up the stairs. It is not fancy, but it is clean and $6!!! What a steal! It was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933 and run by the forest service/government (kudos to the government for building and maintaining this). The drive to there and the setting is stunning. The Hot Springs is not fancy and not modern, it is kind of rustic, but clean.
Well worth it. We took a picnic lunch and ate at pool side. Priceless.
