“Good location...nice room!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Great location right off the Square, lots of great places to walk to. Spacious, clean room, nice flat screen, leather sofa and chair. Fridge, mic and coffee maker, second vanity outside of bathroom, great make up spot.

Comfortable bed but poor linen, very wrinkled and messy looking with old style beadspread, much prefer the new idea of topping the bed with a fresh sheet. Only 3 pillows for a king size bed...however they did bring extra when requested.
Very nice balcony with full size table and chairs, great place to bring lunch back to. However ours did not have a very nice view, could not see the town square. as I had expected.

There is an elevator, but was not working twice while we were there, also it is very poorly lit, scary at night...needs much brighter bulbs.

As others have mentioned the breakfast offerings very minimal, could be MUCH better for the price and compaired to what other Inns are offering, in that price range.

Room Tip: The top floor rooms with balcony are very nice, if you enjoy sitting outside. But I would ask what t...

We found the Ranch Inn to be well worth the money. The room was very large and recently updated. Comfortable beds and great location. The hotel was really very nice. The only complaint we had was that the breakfast was quite sparse. There was enough there to get your day started, but it was definitely inferior to most breakfasts we've had at other hotels.

Room Tip: Get a tower room. These have been updated and don't cost a lot extra.

We spent five days in Jackson, WY, and stayed at the Ranch Inn. We were in a large room on the third floor of the newer wing which was comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast could have more variety but it is okay. We had some trouble with our fridge (the food got all frozen) but the staff was very prompt in replacing it. Appreciated good suggestions for meals from Tanya at the front desk. All in all, the staff was very receptive to our needs.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews that we had seen on TripAdvisor and we were very impressed.

The location is just one block south of town square and there is shopping everywhere! The room is very spacious and has a nice balcony overlooking Pearl Street. The rooms are well-appointed with refrigerator and microwave and the rooms are big.

Great hotel for families.

It is not exactly a fancy hotel. Kind of a motel. That being said, our room was very big. Beds were comfortable. The room had some kind of smell which I did not like. They did not have hot breakfast selection, just the muffins, breads and cereals. The seating area is way small with just three tables. But the location of the hotel is good. Plenty of restaurants at a short walking distance. Overall we had a decent room at a decent price.

We stayed in the Ranch Inn end of May 2013 and in a pinch with tired children on our way up to Yellowstone. We stayed in an outdated double queen room with fridge/micro. We were quoted 115 and then went down to collect our baby crib and were advised the cost was an additional 10 dollars (for a basic travel cot) despite being quoted 115 for the room at check in when we advised we had a baby. In short the room we had was very dark, dated, tired and drab. The room and bathroom were really clean but the bed mattress was lumpy and poor quality, bed linen average and pillows super cheap and ridiculously lumpy. The common areas were not overly clean and outdoor halls and stairs were in need of a decent hard sweep and mop. You can't opt out of the continental breakfast which is well BELOW standard and served in a tiny room with 5 tables in an incredibly basic dated room with 80s metal furniture. Breakfast was so bad that we checked out early and went a block down the road to the Pearl Street Bagel shop (fantastic bagels and service) and had an amazing breakfast for the 5 of us for under $10 - they also make great espresso coffee. On the positive there is a laundry for guests which is cheap at $1 a cycle. In summary I would definitely choose not stay here again but would have given a better rating if we had paid the true value for the room and breakfast of a rate of no more than 90 dollars (including crib) even though it was a busy holiday time in the US.

We stayed two nights - one night before a 5 day trip to Teton / Yellowstone and one night after. We found the motel accommodating, clean and reasonable tariff. A good continental brekky. Coffee available all day. Friendly staff.
