“Not great for the price”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

We stayed in the Ranch Inn end of May 2013 and in a pinch with tired children on our way up to Yellowstone. We stayed in an outdated double queen room with fridge/micro. We were quoted 115 and then went down to collect our baby crib and were advised the cost was an additional 10 dollars (for a basic travel cot) despite being quoted 115 for the room at check in when we advised we had a baby. In short the room we had was very dark, dated, tired and drab. The room and bathroom were really clean but the bed mattress was lumpy and poor quality, bed linen average and pillows super cheap and ridiculously lumpy. The common areas were not overly clean and outdoor halls and stairs were in need of a decent hard sweep and mop. You can't opt out of the continental breakfast which is well BELOW standard and served in a tiny room with 5 tables in an incredibly basic dated room with 80s metal furniture. Breakfast was so bad that we checked out early and went a block down the road to the Pearl Street Bagel shop (fantastic bagels and service) and had an amazing breakfast for the 5 of us for under $10 - they also make great espresso coffee. On the positive there is a laundry for guests which is cheap at $1 a cycle. In summary I would definitely choose not stay here again but would have given a better rating if we had paid the true value for the room and breakfast of a rate of no more than 90 dollars (including crib) even though it was a busy holiday time in the US.

We stayed two nights - one night before a 5 day trip to Teton / Yellowstone and one night after. We found the motel accommodating, clean and reasonable tariff. A good continental brekky. Coffee available all day. Friendly staff.

Stopped in Jackson Hole for one night on a road trip. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and offered knowledgeable and honest advice. We scored a great rate on a premium room which was spacious and very luxurious. I can't wait for another opportunity to stay here. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at the Ranch Inn several times. This was the first time that I stayed in one of their Tower rooms. The king bed Tower rooms are a large mini-suite with chair, ottoman, and couch. The room also has a coffee table, frig and microwave, and a large screen TV. The bathroom is also large. A second sink and mirror are outside the bathroom. A nice final touch is the private outside balcony that faces the ski hill. The room appeared very clean and well maintained.
The staff is very friendly. A good continental breakfast of dry cereal, yogurt, bagels and muffins, and coffee and juice is provided.
The Ranch Inn is one of the cheaper places in Jackson and only one block from the town square.

This has been a place I have stayed several times. It has a decent Continental breakfast and the rooms and suites are nice. The staff is very friendly and has discounted my stays because I stay there so much. I would definitely stay again.

The rotating staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I spent 3 nights at the inn. 2 nights in a tower room with a balcony porch and one on the ground floor. The rooms were spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The Inn is located in the heart of Jackson, walking distance to shops, restaurants/cafes and very close to Snow King Resort. I will be back to stay again!

The first thing I noticed was that the staff was friendly and helpful. Each employee seemed willing to go out of there way to assist us. The rooms were great for the price. In a tower room which we stayed in there seemed to be a little extra space in all areas which was very helpful for us having ski/snowboard gear with us. The tower rooms each have a private patio which was nice. The continental breakfast was good (but could have bananas and/or more fruit options). The parking is very good.

The location of the hotel is perfect escpecially if you want to walk around the town. This hotel would be perfect if it had a hot tub.

Room Tip: All of the 2nd level Tower rooms have a very good view from the patio.
