“3 Days in Heaven!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

THANK YOU TOM TOOLSON for being such a wonderful guide & host - this was a terrific trip! Tom shared both his sense of humor and wealth of knowledge of Yellowstone & Jackson PLUS he was more than happy to take pictures. What a great way to see Yellowstone - lots of wildlife, awesome scenery and NO Summer crowds! Pace was great, hit lots of "hot" spots. Nice group of 10 people which I think was just right. The warm snow suits/gloves/boots provided were perfect! (But be prepared for cold, snow & wind by layering up underneath - you are outside for fun full days!!) Thanks again for the memories!

“3 day tour of Yellowstone, one day tour of Gros Ventre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Jon Toolson and his team did an outstanding job of outfitting us for both rides. We had so much fun seeing the sites, and wildlife, we did another one day in Gros Ventre. Both were spectacular. We are not seasoned riders, but found it easy to adapt to the snowmobiles. Accommodations and food were fine, but nature was the star of the trip. Forget your thoughts about snow mobiles being bad for wildlife. The new models are much quieter, number of riders is tightly controlled and all are under the supervision of a guide. We would highly recommend these trips and are already thinking about going back in 2014!

“Three days of incredible beauty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

We recently spent 3 days on an all-inclusive snowmobile tour of Yellowstone National Park. The staff was so helpful, outfitting us with all the equipment we needed. We started out by having breakfast with our tour group and Tony, our guide, then off on a van ride to the South entrance of Yellowstone. Here, we received the snowmobiles, which were state of the art, with heated seats and hand grips. We rode through incredible scenery, stopping at Old Faithful for lunch, then continuing on to West Yellowstone, where we spent the night in a very comfortable hotel. The town was a snowmobiler's heaven, since you ride right up the main street! We had 2 more days of riding, with another great hotel in Gardiner, Montana. All meals were included, your choice ordered off the menu! The wildlife was abundant, with lots of bison, coyote, and elk. This is recommended for anyone who enjoys winter sports.

“Excellent Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Great Day trip into Old Faithful. They give you all the snowmobile gear, make sure you DO use there stuff and you won't get to cold. There are lots of stops along the way and lunch when you get up to Old Faith to warm you up. Our guide Tony was great and we would definitely do it again!!

“A 56-mile awesome experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We were looking for an activity on our day off of skiing and were extremely pleased to book a tour with OFST! Others have mentioned the "treatment" (pick-up, drop-off, warm clothing, etc) and we would echo the excellent nature of these. We would also mention that our tour was lead by an deeply knowledgeable guide who actually grew up in the Gros-Ventre area and he was genuinely interested in us getting to see as much of the local (winter) wildlife as possible - not just a cursory glance on the way to the ranch for lunch.

We had two adults, two college-aged kids, and our 9-year old son who rode on the back safely and yet had a great time. Lunch was more than ample (sandwiches, hot soup, drinks - including hot chocolate, snacks, and chips) were all provided and in quantities that we chose. Even our daughter drifting into a snowbank could not diminish the thrill and joy of taking this trip!

As a side note, there were two opportunities for bathroom breaks once we left the HQ - both of them very spartan!
