“Good value for families”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

One of the cheaper places to stay in Jackson, especially with a family. Having a refrigerator is good. The bathroom was pretty small. The sink is in the back of the main room. No continental breakfast but there are many places to go around town and you do have a refrigerator. The wifi was not reliable (connection cut in an out), on the south side of the property. The a/c-heater is right next to a bed so it can be pretty loud (and cold/hot) at night if sleeping next to it. Was greeting by the local cat in the morning. Would recommend for a family for a night or two.

We stayed here July 11th-July 14th. It was a great room.It was clean and comfy.Loved the fridge ,microwave and coffee maker. We asked where nearest grocery store was and stocked up.It's close enough to walk to the town square without being right in the thick of things(traffic, noise, etc.) We spent every day in the GTNP ,it was a great location for this. Would reccommend it to anyone.

The Angler's Inn is very much as most other visitors have described. In a quiet location in Jackson it is relatively simple but fully equipped with everything you could require and represents good value for the area. The reason I give it five stars is because our experience was that we received the very best of customer service. On our road trip I had been struck down with Shingles, very unpleasant. Trying to reduce our daily travel distances I wanted to cancel one night at the Inn. By their rules I should have paid for the night I cancelled, but in the circumstances they waived this. Not only that, Doug, the owner, upgraded us to a twin Queen room so we might sleep more comfortably, and refused to take the extra payment this would normally attract. He also helped with telephone communications while we rearranged our trip. We thank him for his kindness and think it represents the best of hospitality. If for nothing else this has earned the Angler's Inn a five star assessment from me.

Cute room with space to fix food in an electric skillet (brought, of course), coffee maker/coffee, kleenex, shower soaps, microwave, fridge. Small room, nice furniture, "rustic-looking.".

Stayed only one night, since traveling around the entire country.

Wool blankets and top pillows. Don't throw yourself on the bed if sensitive.

Tiny TV. Looks like a 15" computer monitor, so I assume not a good stay if you'r into watching the tube. Table and 2 chairs, chest of drawers, huge ironing board.

The bathroom is as small as possible, although not as small as on a ship. The door is very narrow.

There is a cute writing/food preparation desk with large mirror, and the sink has a mirror as well. The lighting is practical.

The door lock is awkward, and it's old school. Real keys, and big ones, with the number etched in.

Quiet. Wifi, although slow. Ample parking.

Magic clock. It kept changing; it took a while for us to catch on. It was funny.

Noise. There was much of it.

1 tiny trash can in the room, not adequate for allergies and eating in. No pool or workout room.

REAL metal keys!

Room Tip: Rooms facing mountains are cool.

Stayed here 2 nights. Room was clean and well-appointed. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge, table and chairs, desk area. Nicely decorated, clean, good shower. Would stay here again. Reasonably priced for Jackson, WY and on a quiet side street.

It is a basic hotel. The price was reasonable.

The parking was free and the room was not big but has every thing.

The TV was a joke, but we didn't use it anyway....Wifi is equipped,, which was enough.

The bed is ok but wondering if they have bugs... My foot was bite but not sure which animal did this...

Went here on recommendation...glad we did. It was inexpensive and doesn't have breakfast, so we splurged on the Bunnery. Clean and Pendleton blankets; unexpected luxury. Two easy blocks from main drag.
