Because our trail ride was set up by the touf company, I am not sure of the name! Our guide told us about the family who owned the trail horses and how the guides all lived together throughout the summer. The said that everyone had Sundays off - unusual in any business! There were about twelve of us riding - most of whom had never ridden before. I had a large black horse who was obedient as one could expect and as an experienced rider, I had no difficulty, However, one person's stirrup actually fell off, and another horse ran away when his rider decided to get to his horse to help someone else! Made for some interesting moments. The trails were not easy, and so also lent some elements of surprise to what could have been a very boring two hour trip! The guides pointed out flora and fauna, but did not know all the birds - hard to see but beautiful voices. Not sure of the value as this ride was set up by the tour group, but the views of the Tetons were magnificent and overall, everyone had a great time! PS - the outhouse has a flushing toilet and running water sink!
