JHETA is so perfect you would think they had a deal with the animals. Interesting, informative, helpful, friendly and fun. Couldn't have been better.

“Great way to spend a half day, or more, while in Jackson Hole”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

We chose Eco-tours after checking out a few different wildlife tours on the internet and were glad we did. We knew the day was not going to be great for skiing, so we wanted to do something interesting in the area. After considering several options, we decided on a half day wildlife tour in Teton National Park. Taylor was very accommodating when we called to book a tour for the next morning. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Teton Village and within the first half hour saw our first mule deer just off the road. After stopping for photos we headed into the park. Soon after, we spotted a lone coyote, then several Big Horn sheep, Prong horned antelope, more coyotes. We also saw trumpeter swans, a juvenile bald eagle and several other birds. At one point we stopped and Taylor fixed hot French-press coffee and hot chocolate. Earlier he had offered us several selections of baked goods including blueberry muffins and homemade granola bars. Along the way, Taylor shared a lot of wonderful information about the history of the area, the animals and their habitats and general info about the park.
All in all it was a great way to spend the morning and although we didn't spot any moose or wolves (two animals at the top of our list we had hoped to see), Taylor made every effort to find as much wildlife as possible for us to see.
I would highly recommend Eco Tour a Adventures and will definitely call them again. A multi-day tour would be next on our list!

“Great Team, Great Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

Connor is very knowledgeable and interesting; made very effort to meet expectations of all guests in the van, and to connect and interact with each of us. It's not a trip to the zoo: you may not see everything on your list, but you'll have a fun time out in the beautiful wilderness!

“Winter Paradise + Perfect Engagement Stage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Wow. The love of the mountains is enormous for both myself and my (now) fiance. What better place than Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) to become engaged?! Mountains surround you, wildlife is rampant. What a vacation we had out there but the best day of the entire trip was the day in which Taylor from Eco Tour Adventures showed us GTNP! This man is absolutely first class with respect to every area I can think. Hospitable, can carry a conversation, asks you questions to engage you and figure out what it is that he could best serve you with, knowledgeable of the area geology, flora, and fauna. The day begins when he arrives to pick you up at your accommodations. After a brief introduction, you are off and begin your adventure. He is very prepared for this cold day as he has extra blankets, hot chocolate, French pressed coffee (made on the spot - don't mind your 10 minute wait while it brews fresh for you!), fresh fruit and bakery items from one of the local bakeries, water (with souvenir bottle), and bison jerky. In the food area, you will also be treated to a lunch in the park! For you viewing pleasure, Taylor comes equipped with a Ford Excursion which has a top hatch you can use to view from within the vehicle as well as your own personal set of Brunton high power binoculars. He also has a high powered scope which he sets up anytime you stop and want to see some wildlife which is way out there. He carries in his truck a topographical relief map to show you where you have been and where you are going. He provides you with a journal which you can record everything you see and his knowledge of wildlife and even more remarkable the birds (one of my hobbies) is outstanding. We saw thousands of elk, moose, bighorn sheep, bison, bald eagles, rough legged hawk, speckled grouse, mergansers (hooded and common), and more. The most important part of my day was the perfect spot to propose to my girlfriend and Taylor had just the location. He took us to the North end of the frozen Jackson Lake with the view of the Grand Tetons as our backdrop. With Mount Moran in the forefront and Taylor positioned a good distance away taking photos (yes! He is a photographer as well) with his telephoto lens, I had the perfect private moment I was seeking and still able to get pictures of the event! I loved how it turned out and how accommodating Taylor was to make it a perfect day for us. Once the photos were taken and she had said yes, Taylor popped a small bottle of champagne (surprise to me) to help celebrate and toast the occasion. I would recommend Eco Tours to any and all friends who are headed to Jackson Hole. His service was impeccable and he pays attention to the details which is exactly what you deserve.
